When the news first broke that Braun Strowman was injured and would require surgery, the time frame given for his return was 1-2 months.

Yesterday, the WWE reported this on their website:

"Strowman underwent surgery on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala. with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas. During the procedure, it was revealed, among his other injuries, that Strowman's elbow had been shattered, and he is expected to miss up to six months of action as a result."

Wow, from 1-2 months to 6 months, that's a huge change and big news. But is it true? Probably not!

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the whole 6 month thing is a work and Strowman is actually expected to be back in time to wrestle Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam on August 20th, with him returning around the middle of July to start the build up for the fight.
