Which Former WWE Superstar Told Titus O'Neil to Ask for His Release?

The Titus O'Neil/Vince McMahon situation has been making its viral rounds as the WWE Superstars must now serve a suspension for his behaviour following the Daniel Bryan post-Raw tribute celebration.

In what appeared to be a strange exchange, Titus O'Neil would grab the arm of Vince McMahon, causing the boss to shove back atop the ramp. In turn, these actions will cost O'Neil some time away from WWE.

As to what exactly possessed Titus O'Neil to grab Vince McMahon while he was exiting the stage remains unknown. Perhaps a usually playful act backstage is not considered "playful" while live on the WWE Network?

Regardless of the reasoning, Titus O'Neil - one of WWE's most charitable employees - will sit at home for a while and likely miss Wrestle Mania. While O'Neil was not slotted to be the star of the show, missing 'Mania weekend is a harsh blow to any Superstar.

One former WWE Superstar who knows all about starring at Wrestle Mania has weighed in on the situation. Former six-time World Champion and real life friend of Titus O'Neil, Batista has provided his opinion via Twitter.

When a fan suggested to Batista that he call WWE Headquarters and straighten out the suspension, "The Animal" would respond as such:

I did something better! I called @TitusONeilWWE and told him to ask to be released. #onelife

Back at the Royal Rumble event, Batista would decline an invitation from Vince McMahon to appear at this year's WrestleMania. In light of his recent opinion, one must believe that Batista will in fact stay away from the upcoming event.
