After a terrific tag team match between American Alpha and The Revival for the NXT Tag Team Championships, which The Revival won, American Alpha were collecting themselves before leaving the ring. Then, out of nowhere, two huge wrestlers came and annihilated the babyfaces, demonstrating incredible power and some interesting moves, before, again out of nowhere, Paul Ellering, the former manager of The Road Warriors, came out and left with the team.
But, who are these two monsters?
Well, their names are Sunny Dhinsa and Gzim Selmani. According to WrestleZone.com, the pair have been working as a tag team for the past few months and recently came out to an NXT live event and beatdown Mojo Rawley before calling themselves The Authors of Pain.
Not much is known about Sunny Dhinsa other than that he has a background in amateur wrestling and was training for the 2016 Olympics before he decided to sign with the WWE, which he did in late 2014, according to Pwpix.net.
More is known about Gzim Selmani, who was an MMA fighter before making the move to the WWE. The Dutch-Albanian fighter has a 4-2 MMA record and his most notable fight took place at Bellator 130, where he lost to Daniel Ballemore by TKO. He signed with the WWE in May of 2015.
