The Survivor Series pay-per-view is just 10 days away, but we're still waiting to find out who Bray Wyatt will defend his Universal Championship against.

So far, there are six matches on the Survivor Series card. This includes a pair of 5-on-5 elimination tag matches, three triple threat all-champion matches plus Brock Lesnar vs. Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship.

It hasn't been announced yet, but we now know who The Fiend will square off against at the big pay-per-view event. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Paul Davis of Wrestling News), Daniel Bryan will challenge Wyatt for his Universal Championship at Survivor Series.

Bryan was attacked by Wyatt during a backstage segment on last week's episode of SmackDown Live, when the former was talking to Sami Zayn. Wyatt appeared out of nowhere and attacked the former WWE Champion with the mandible claw.

Wyatt also posted this photo to further hint at an upcoming clash with Bryan:

There were some rumblings that Bryan would get his shot against Wyatt following last week's brutal attack, and sure enough, the veteran WWE superstar has a chance to solve The Fiend once and for all.

Bryan lost his WWE Championship to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35, and he slowly began to move out of the main event spotlight. Now, Bryan is heading back into it as he tries to win the Universal Championship for the first time.

There are only two episodes of SmackDown Live remaining until Survivor Series. We can probably expect the buildup between Bryan and Wyatt to begin this Friday. So get excited, because promises to be a dandy.

Bryan Is The Perfect Opponent For Wyatt

There are only a handful of suitable opponents for Wyatt to clash with on SmackDown, and Bryan is probably the best one right now. He recently completed a face turn, and Bryan is an established main eventer. Even if their feud only lasts a short period, Bryan is the ideal opponent for The Fiend, and their match should be nothing short of excellent.
