In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated to promote WWE's Answer The Call campaign, WWE superstar Roman Reigns stated that he believes former WWE World Heavyweight champion and Intercontinental titleholder Daniel Bryan is simply the best.
If you happen to disagree, the Samoan doesn't really think that highly of you.
"Bryan is the best," declared Reigns. "If anybody says any different, they're an idiot."
Reigns went on to explain how he's learned from Bryan while being a member of the Shield, as well as the "Yes! Man's" impact in WWE:
"You can learn anything from him. I got to work a lot with him with the Shield–that was like the band with those six man matches (against Bryan, Kane, and Ryback), we were doing those every night. So I had plenty of chemistry and experience with Bryan. He is such a journeyman with so much experience, and that's a key ingredient to what we do–just logging in those man-hours. Bryan is a journeyman, and he's one of the few that we have, with Seth and Dean also in that category. He's just so smart. He has a great take on everything, and he doesn't just think about his product. He thinks of the grand scheme of things in the WWE world, and he's a privilege to be around, not only in the ring but also as a person."
Reigns also spoke about travelling with Bryan on a European tour, picking his brain for an hour-and-a-half while the two sat at the back of the bus.
Reigns was booed out of the building when he was declared the victor of the 2015 Royal Rumble Match, a contest many felt Bryan should have won. The two also had a great match at Fastlane a month later. It's nice to see Reigns put his fellow compatriot over, while his career progresses, too.
