On Monday's Raw, Sin Cara brought an insurance policy to the ring with him in the form of a new female competitor wearing a mask? Who exactly is she?

On Monday's WWE RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman introduced the WWE Universe to a new female wrestler. Going by the name Catalina and wearing a mask, the woman in question is WWE NXT Superstar Catalina Garcia.

Garcia was introduced backstage during a promo Sin Cara cut with Charly Caruso and said, "two can play that game" when asked how he was going to combat Zelina Vega at ringside. While it didn't work, and Andrade still picked up the win, it is safe to assume Catalina and Sin Cara will be paired together moving forward.

Catalina was part of the WWE Performance Center Class from mid-August. She's fairly new to the WWE and when she was brought in, WWE said the following about her:

"Catalina Garcia, from Chile, goes by the professional alias "La Diva del Ring" Jessy on the independent wrestling circuit. Garcia has competed in Chilean promotions 5 Luchas – Clandestino and MAX Lucha Libre, as well as the Santiago-based Revolución Lucha Libre, where she is a two-time women's champion."

That Class also featured Santana Garrett, EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory, Tehuti Miles, Briana Brandy, and others.

What Does This Mean for Sin Cara?

It is assumed this is the start of a small push for Sin Cara but not one that will see him become a champion. That he lost another match to Andrade and while debuting his new sidekick is somewhat rare. Typically, a debut would mean a victory.

But, Heyman is not shy about bringing in new NXT talent and Sin Cara working alongside Garcia makes some sense as he's a veteran that can show her the ropes.
