Rumors of Samoa Joe’s WWE signing have been swirling for months and shockingly enough, he may be making his long-awaited debut in a few days.
According to Reddit user “falcconarrow,” certified by Reddit’s Squared Circle moderators for having insider information, the former TNA Wrestling and Ring of Honor (ROH) standout has signed a two-year contract with the promotion.
On top of that, Joe is expected to make his WWE debut this upcoming week on NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, which takes place May 20th on the WWE Network.
Fans were hoping for the 36-year-old wrestler to sign with the promotion after a short return stint in ROH following his TNA release. There was even speculation stemming from a meeting between Joe and Triple H earlier this year, with talks of the Indy legend making a move to NXT.
If this turns out to be true, Joe would join former ROH stable mates Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn on the show, being another name on the long list of ROH talents WWE has picked up over the years.
