So, the general assumption has been that The Undertaker – who is 50 years old – would call it quits after WrestleMania 32, which is taking place in Arlington, Texas on April 3rd, 2016. But that may not be the case.
WWE Hall of Fame play-by-play man Jim Ross noted in a recent blog entry that he doesn’t think “The Deadman” will hang up his boots after WrestleMania 32:
“From what I can determine, Wrestlemania Texas will NOT be the Undertaker’s final match but the jury is still out on whether it will be Sting’s last one.” “No, I don’t see them having a match vs each other there either. Plus, I don’t see how WWE gets all the way to April for the Taker vs. Lesnar ‘rubber match’ if that’s in the cards.”
And as far as that next match with “The Beast Incarnate” is concerned, there is talk that The Undertaker will have one fight between now and WrestleMania 32 and that it might be the “Hell in a Cell” PPV which brings about that final confrontation with Brock Lesnar.
