Matt Hardy Cuts Strange Promo About The Undertaker

Woken Matt Hardy recently posted a video himself on Twitter discussing The Undertaker and whether he thinks we've seen the last of him.

Fans were looking forward to an awful lot of things taking place on Raw's 25th-anniversary show. Stone Cold doling out some stunners, we got that. Braun Strowman throwing Brock Lesnar around like he's a rag doll, we got that too. We were also hoping that we would get some answers about The Undertaker's career, but that we did not get.

The Deadman came to the ring at the Manhattan Center on Monday night and delivered a promo to the fans, a promo that was about as clear as mud. Undertaker listed off some of the Superstars he has beaten over the years and added that they can all rest in peace. It sort of had the feel of a lackluster retirement speech, but maybe not. Basically, we're still as in the dark as we were before The Undertaker was on Raw.

One man in particular who seems pretty certain that we have not seen the last of The Phenom is Matt Hardy. The Woken One posted a video on Twitter this week divulging the knowledge that he possesses about the soul of The Deadman, as he puts it. Apparently, the soul within the vessel of The Undertaker is over 4000 years old and his current form is the most powerful that he has ever taken in all of that time.

The video seems a little unwarranted, so why exactly did Hardy post it? Well, as touched upon The Woken One says during the clip that he believes we haven't seen the last of The Undertaker. Perhaps he is angling for a match with the sure-fire Hall of Famer somewhere down the line. He'll have to get past Bray Wyatt first though which isn't going well following his loss to The Eater Of Worlds this past Monday night.

The futures of both The Undertaker and Woken Matt Hardy are pretty unpredictable right now. We could see The Deadman compete one last time at WrestleMania 34 or he could really be finished with wrestling. In Hardy's case, WWE is testing out different things with his Woken character right now and so far what has made it to TV has been pretty hit and miss.
