Many wrestling enthusiasts say that kayfabe is dead. Surprisingly, this is nothing new. The breaking of the fourth wall has gone on in the sport of wrestling for quite some time, even thirty years ago. Many of us remember back in the Rock N' Wrestling days that kayfabe was broken with The Land of 1000 Dances performance where a group of wrestlers were singing this song in a rather humorous fashion with the face and the heel wrestlers together on stage. The fourth wall has been broken once again in the sport of wrestling, and it is all in good fun for some of the women in the WWE's women's division.

Natalya and several other women wrestlers break kayfabe via a post from Natalya's Instagram page. She along with several other wrestlers are singing a classic tune from the 80s of the late Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance with Somebody. During the lip-synch , the women get a visit from one of the divas who misses out on the fun.

The ladies appear to be having a good time as some noticeable women wrestlers are lip synching such as Natalya, Lana, Carmella, Becky Lynch, Tamina and Dasha Fuentes. The women all have some sort of eating utensils in their hands that they are using as microphones. Some of the women are singing in a high pitch voice and are having a good time. All of a sudden Tamina goes to a door and opens it.

Tamina opens the door and Naomi appears. Naomi storms in and seems a bit upset with the women since she has missed out on all of the singing action. She interrupts the whole gig and then the party is suddenly over when Natalya goes to turn off the music.

Breaking kayfabe will continue in the sport of wrestling and it really caught on in the 90s with the curtain call involving the Kliq. The NWO took it even further when wrestlers started using their real names instead of pseudonyms. A whole show about breaking kayfabe is well known called Total Divas which breaks kayfabe every which way.
