With Survivor Series about a week away, the match card is almost fully complete. However, one spot on Alicia Fox's Team Raw remains for the women's 5-on-5 interbrand match. According to WWE's official Twitter page, we'll find out who the last member is on next week's episode of Monday Night Raw:
So far, Team Raw consists of Fox, Asuka, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks. They're taking on Team Smackdown - Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Carmella, Tamina and Naomi. So either Bayley, Dana Brooke or Mickie James will nab the final spot on the team.
It's worth noting that if Bayley wins the match and qualifies for Team Raw, then nine of the 10 women to compete in last year's 5-on-5 match will be returning for the 2017 bout. Alexa Bliss was on Team SmackDown last year, but will face the holder of the SmackDown Women's Championship at Survivor Series.
Though it remains to be seen who'll emerge victorious, Bayley seems like the most logical fit to win the match. The former Raw Women's Champion was being pushed to lead the females division but missed two months with a separated shoulder injury. That killed her push and Bayley lost plenty of her momentum while seeing stars like Bliss and Jax move into the main event picture instead.
So it wouldn't make sense for Bayley to lose this match and be left off the Survivor Series card. Triple H and the creative team have made it clear they're confident in her pushing the women's division while James and Brooke haven't gotten much as exposure as Bayley.
Last year Team Raw emerged victorious with Bayley and Charlotte being the last ones standing after all five SmackDown stars were eliminated. We'll see if the red team can make it back-to-back victories, or if Team SmackDown gets its revenge.
