WrestleMania 34 was an incredibly long show that featured 14 matches from the pre-show to the main card. There were some remarkable bouts on the card, and some were lackluster, here's every single one of them, ranked from worst to best.

After the huge success of WrestleMania XXX, WWE decided to return to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for WrestleMania 34. The grandeur of WrestleMania grew bigger and bigger every year, and it became incredibly tough for fans to stay focused on a big show for over seven hours.

Quality is for sure better than quantity, and there were a few matches at WrestleMania 34 which were underwhelming. Nonetheless, the majority of marquee matches lived up to the billing, which was massively important. Seven-hours is far too long for a wrestling show and some matches suffered by being short with others being paced correctly.

14 Cesaro & Sheamus Vs. Braun Strowman & Nicholas

WM 34 Raw TT

Leading up to WrestleMania 34, Braun Strowman teased that he would have a surprise tag team partner in his Raw Tag Team Championship match against Cesaro and Sheamus.

Unfortunately, The Monster Among Men chose 10-year-old Nicholas from the crowd to be his tag team partner. It was a nonsensical decision, and the match wasn't great either. Cesaro and Sheamus certainly deserved better than be humiliated by dropping the straps to Strowman and a 10-year old child.

13  Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Andre The Giant Battle Royal

The fifth edition of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal took place in the first match of the night on the pre-show. As usual, battle royals at WrestleMania are done to get everyone on the card.

Veterans such as Kane and Goldust were involved in this cluster of a match. Unfortunately, this Battle Royal wasn't anything special, and Matt Hardy prevailed with some help from Bray Wyatt.

12 The Usos Vs. Bludgeon Brothers Vs. New Day

SD Tag Team Title

Finally, The Usos got their WrestleMania moment by appearing on the main card of a WrestleMania show for the first time. They defended the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, known as The Bludgeon Brothers, and Kofi Kingston and Big E represented The New Day.

This had the potential to be a special match, but with so many matches on the show, they failed to get enough time. Nonetheless, The Bludgeon Brothers were dominant from start to finish, and they claimed the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in just under six minutes.

11 WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal

WM Women's Battle Royal

The WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal was originally known as The Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal but it was changed due to controversy about Moolah's past that was brought to light.

However, many marquee names including Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks had to settle for this match despite featuring in high-profile title matches at WrestleMania 33. It was an average Battle Royal, and Naomi prevailed by eliminating Bayley.

10 Randy Orton Vs. Jinder Mahal Vs. Bobby Roode Vs. Rusev

US Title

Four years prior, in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Randy Orton walked in as the WWE Champion in the main event. At WrestleMania 34, he put the United States Championship on the line in a fatal-4-way match against former champion Bobby Roode, two-time champion Rusev, and Jinder Mahal.

Rusev's Rusev Day gimmick was over, and he should have emerged as the winner. Orton nailed all of his challengers with an RKO. However, Mahal captured the United States Title with a Khallas on Rusev, once again ending another title reign of The Viper's.

9 The Undertaker Vs. John Cena

Undertaker v Cena

John Cena comically sat at ringside for the first few matches at WrestleMania, teasing that he would not be competing at WrestleMania. However, Big Match John collided with The Undertaker in an unannounced match.

It's a shame that this match did not get the build-up it deserved as it could have been an instant classic. The Phenom decimated Cena abruptly, and he finished off the job with a Tombstone.

8 Alexa Bliss Vs. Nia Jax

Bliss v Jax

The Raw Women's Championship was defended in a singles match at WrestleMania for the first time. Alexa Bliss put the gold on the line against her former best friend Nia Jax.

The Irresistible Force was reduced to tears by Bliss leading up to this personal battle, who made fun of her weight. Nonetheless, Bliss and Jax put on an underrated title match. The Goddess executed Twisted Bliss onto the outside. However, Jax became the new Raw Women's Champion with an extraordinary Samoan Drop from the top rope.

7 Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns

Lesnar v Reigns

Roman Reigns was competing in his fourth consecutive WrestleMania main event, becoming the second man to achieve that remarkable feat. The Big Dog challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

However, fans rejected this match, and chanted "boring" and "this is awful" repeatedly. Lesnar's contract was coming to an end but WWE pulled a swerve by making The Beast Incarnate retain the title with Reigns bleeding profusely, which should have been his crowning moment.

6 Cedric Alexander Vs. Mustafa Ali

Alexander v Ali

Following Enzo Amore's departure, Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali battled for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship in the second match on the pre-show.

Alexander and Ali took advantage of the opportunity presented to them, and they did not fail to disappoint in this exhilarating match. After going back and forth, Alexander captured the Cruiserweight Title with his patented Lumbar Check.

5 Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon Vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Mania 34

Daniel Bryan made his long-awaited return to action after almost three years on the sidelines. He teamed up with Shane McMahon to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. There was an added caveat for Owens and Zayn as they would be reinstated back to SmackDown if they prevailed.

It was an entertaining tag team match that was designed for Bryan to have his moment. Owens and Zayn targetted Shane's stomach as Shane had legitimately recovered from diverticulitis. Nonetheless, Bryan got all the plaudits as he forced Zayn to submit to his Yes Lock.

4  AJ Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Styles v Nakamura

AJ Styles defended the WWE Championship against his old foe Shinsuke Nakamura, who won the 2018 Royal Rumble match. This was a dream match that everyone was excited to see.

Whilst, it certainly did not live up to the billing, it was a competitive and high-quality WWE Title match. The Phenomenal One retained the title but Nakamura turned heel afterward by viciously assaulting Styles.

3 The Miz Vs. Seth Rollins Vs. Finn Balor

The Miz v Seth Rollins v Finn Balor WrestleMania 34 Cropped

The Miz had his hands full in one of the best Intercontinental Championship matches in WrestleMania history. The Awesome One defended the gold against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor in the opening match of the night in a triple threat match.

This set the tone to get Mania off to a fast start, with all three telling a good story. Miz went for his patented Skull Crushing Finale on Rollins, which was broken up by Balor's Coup De Grace. Ultimately, The Architect put a stop to Miz's IC Title reign with a devastating Curb Stomp.

2 Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey Vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon

Mixed Tag

The marquee mixed-tag team match between Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon exceeded expectations. Rousey participated in her first match, and this was Stephanie's first match on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

All four put on a remarkable performance, and Stephanie looked great against Ronda by escaping from Ronda's debilitating armbar on several occasions. Angle and The Game being the seasoned veterans had some entertaining exchanges. Ultimately, Rousey excelled in her debut by finally forcing Stephanie to submit to the armbar.

1 Charlotte Flair Vs. Asuka

Charlotte v Asuka

Surprisingly, Charlotte Flair and Asuka's SmackDown Women's Championship match went on second, but it did not matter as they tore the house down. The Queen's title reign was in serious jeopardy as Asuka was undefeated.

This match was not topped, and they have tremendous in-ring chemistry together. Charlotte executed a jaw-dropping Spanish Fly from the top rope which was magnificent. Ultimately, Charlotte kept her title intact with a Figure Eight, and just being overwhelmed by what she had just achieved, Charlotte was understandably emotional.
