WrestleMania 36 was as good as you could expect under the circumstances. With no crowd present, all the superstars tried their best to put on the best matches possible. As with any show, there were matches that worked and there were matches that didn't, it is specifically noticeable when there is a title hanging in the balance.

Overall, there were 9 total championships that were put on the line at WrestleMania 36, including two World Championships, three Women's Championships, three Tag Team Championships, and one Mid-Card Championship. So which of these matches were great and which fell short, we find out here, where we rank every title match on the show from worst to best.

9 Universal Championship Match - Goldberg Vs Braun Strowman

You couldn't expect a lot out of this match going into it with how late it was put together, but wow was it bad. The match wasn't long but it was really sloppily put together.

The match started out with Goldberg spearing Strowman 4 times, and then Strowman followed it up by Powerslamming Goldberg four times before getting the win. The whole way this match played out was not good, and we're just glad it didn't last long.

8 Intercontinental Championship Match - Sami Zayn Vs Daniel Bryan

A match that fell so far below expectations you can't even see it anymore, Daniel Bryan took on Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship.

This whole match was a slow contest, that featured Daniel Bryan dominating and Sami Zayn crying. We're not sure if Zayn is injured or not but he did nothing this entire match before pulling out the win after delivering the Helluva Kick. This was just a completely disappointing match from start to finish.

7 WWE Championship Match - Brock Lesnar Vs Drew Mcintyre

Drew vs Brock

It probably isn't a good thing when both of the World Championship matches are in the bottom third of this list. In a match very much hurt by having no crowd, Brock Lesnar took on Drew Mcintyre for the WWE Championship.

Again this match was just 5 minutes of both guys hitting their big moves before Mcintyre put The Beast away with 4 Claymores. The match was not well put together, with both guys seeming out of their element, and the moment of Mcintyre winning was ruined with not having a crowd.

6 Raw Women's Championship Match - Becky Lynch Vs Shayna Baszler

Yet another disappointing affair, Shayna Baszler challenged Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship in what was one of the most highly anticipated matches of WrestleMania 36.

The match was physical with both women showing good chemistry with one another, but it just didn't seem like the match ever got out of second gear. It ultimately ended after Becky countered the Kirifuda Clutch into a backslide, but these two are capable of much better.

5 WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match - The Kabuki Warriors Vs Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

In the first match of the first night of WrestleMania 36, The Kabuki Warriors took on Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a fairly entertaining bout.

The match itself was pretty good with all four women seemingly set on getting the show off to a good start, and the energy was high the entire match. It ended after Alexa Bliss hit Twisted Bliss to win the titles. The Kabuki Warriors probably should've retained but it was a good match nonetheless.

4 Raw Tag Team Championship Match - The Street Profits Vs Angel Garza & Austin Theory

The Street Profits took on Austin Theory & Angel Garza for the Raw Tag Team Championships. It seemed like this match was destined for failure coming into it, with The Street Profits making their names off of interacting with the fans but it actually turned into a really good match.

The entire match was fast-paced with both teams keeping the energy high throughout. The Street Profits picked up the win after Montez Ford hit the Frog Splash. The match obviously would have been better if there was a crowd, but it was still very fun.

3 SmackDown Women's Championship Match

Bayley had the odds stacked against her when she took on Sasha Banks, Tamina, Lacey Evans, and Naomi. This match was mostly used to further the storyline between Sasha Banks and Bayley, but that didn't stop it from being one of the best matches on the show.

All 5 women put on the best match they possibly could with all of them getting good moments, and each had a part in telling a good story. Bayley got the win with Sasha's help when Sasha hit Lacey Evans with a backstabber and then Bayley hit the Bayley To Belly. Again, this match was mostly used to forward the Sasha and Bayley story, but it was a great match that did its job perfectly.

2 NXT Women's Championship Match

Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley made for one of the most interesting and anticipated matchups on the show and they did not disappoint.

This was a very hard-hitting match with both women motivated and on the top of their game. This is also one of the few matches that may have benefited with having no crowd, or at the very least Charlotte and Rhea did a very good job playing to their environment. Charlotte ended up winning when she made Rhea tap to the Figure-Eight Leg Lock, which didn't seem like a good result for the longterm, but it was a great match anyway.

1 SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match

It was hard to believe coming into WrestleMania 36 that a ladder match would work with having no crowd, but surprisingly it was great. With all 3 teams having only 1 member represent them: John Morrison (partnered with The Miz), took on Kofi Kingston (The New Day), and Jimmy Uso (The Uso's).

This was a good solid ladder match, which still provided breath-taking moments, even though there was no crowd there to react to them, and all 3 men seemed like they had a chance to win which made it unpredictable. John Morrison got the win in a wacky way when the titles literally fell on him, but that didn't stop it from incredibly exceeding expectations and being the best title match on the show.
