Wrestlers heading into the movie industry is something that is becoming increasingly more common in current times. The Rock broke down the barriers for WWE Superstars to transition into Hollywood, and since then the likes of John Cena and most recently Sasha Banks have gone on to follow him.

While wrestlers often share the ring together, when it comes to the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, it's rare you see wrestlers together. However, every now and then, two wrestlers end up being involved in the credits together, both being part of a film at the same time, which makes any wrestling fan pleased even if it is surprising.

9 R-Truth & Blue Meanie (The Wrestler)

The Wrestler

The Wrestler is an incredible movie that takes a deep dive into the world of professional wrestling and the difficulties that can come with the sport. Mickey Rourke plays an old, washed-up wrestler past his prime who struggles with the decision to retire.

Of course, in a film that features professional wrestling, the decision was made to bring in real professional wrestlers to add to the realism. However, the random assortment of talents such as R-Truth and Blue Meanie is certainly very surprising. Many other wrestlers appear include Robert Stone, Jay Lethal, Nigel McGuinness, Necro Butcher, Chuck Taylor, Cesaro, Austin Aries, and Drew Gulak, to name a few.

8 The Great Khali & The Rock (Get Smart)

Get Smart

Roman Reigns isn't the only man to share movie credits with The Rock, which they did in Hobbs & Shaw. as a more surprising name to do so is actually The Great Khali. Both men play agents in this spy comedy starring Steve Carrell, with Khali actually having some funny moments.

The movie overall is very entertaining, but seeing The Great Khali and The Rock in the same film is certainly very shocking, as they aren't on the same star power level.

7 Goldberg & Kevin Nash (The Longest Yard)

Goldberg

Despite being bitter enemies in the ring and two men who have legitimate issues out of it, both Goldberg and Kevin Nash starred in The Longest Yard. This Adam Sandler comedy has a lot of great moments, and both former WCW stars are entertaining within their roles.

They've always been true opposites, so the fact that they were on different sides of the coin in this movie made sense. Goldberg was one of the prisoners, while Nash was a guard. The Great Khali is also one of the prisoners, while Steve Austin plays a guard.

6 Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross (Man On The Moon)

Jerry Lawler

Man On The Moon is a brilliant movie that focuses on the life of Andy Kaufman, and of course, the comedian did have a long-standing feud with Jerry Lawler. While they were friends in reality most people saw their feud as something real.

5 Paul Heyman & Shane McMahon (Rollerball)

Rollerball

This is a combination of wrestling personalities that most people do not expect to see in the same movie. However, both Shane McMahon and Paul Heyman do make appearances within Rollerball.

Shane McMahon makes a cameo in the crowd where he's shown several times reacting to a major argument, although he never speaks. Meanwhile, Paul Heyman works as the announcer for the roller derby.

4 Zelina Vega & Tessa Blanchard (Fighting With My Family)

Fighting With My Family

Fighting With My Family is a movie all about wrestling, therefore it's no surprise that there's a couple of wrestlers involved. The movie is all about Paige's journey to WWE, with the big scene being Paige's main roster debut, defeating AJ Lee for the Divas Championship.

Obviously, AJ wasn't involved in the film, and it was actually Zelina Vega who took the role. While that's obvious, a lot of people aren't aware that it is actually Tessa Blanchard who plays Paige for the stunts in this scene, rather than the actress Florence Pugh.

3 Kurt Angle & The Rock (Pain And Gain)

Pain and Gain

The last example of The Rock being in the same movie as someone comes from Pain And Gain, which just so happened to feature Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle with the two men having a fight scene.

They kick things back to their wrestling days with a brilliant brawl inside a prison, which leads to The Rock launching a weight plate into Angle's face to get the victory in the fight.

2 Various Wrestlers (MacGruber)

MacGruber

When this SNL sketch was brought to life with a full feature film, people weren't sure what to expect, but six wrestling cameo appearances certainly wasn't on the list. Early in the movie when MacGruber goes out to get recruits, the people that he brings in are all WWE Superstars.

The movie saw MVP, Mark Henry, The Great Khali, Big Show, Kane, and Chris Jericho all make appearances. Some of the actors from the film, including Will Forte and Kristen Wiig, appeared on Raw to plug the release.

1 RVD & Batista (Wrong Side Of Town)

Wrong Side Of Town

Batista is a huge Hollywood actor now, having appeared in major Marvel movies and worked in a James Bond film. However, when he was still making his name, he appeared in a much smaller film, called Wrong Side Of Town.

But Batista wasn't the big star of this one, as that credit actually went to former ECW Champion, Rob Van Dam. They're not two wrestlers people would necessarily put together, but they showed good chemistry in this movie, which also features some terrific fight scenes.
