Even though most of the stuff we see on WWE television is scripted, sometimes things can get a little out of control. After all, wrestlers are also mortals, and mistakes do happen. Some of the time, WWE can cover up for it on the fly but a lot of the time, they can't.

The original plan for the Royal Rumble 2005 was for Batista to win by throwing John Cena over the top rope. But these two wrestlers landed on the floor simultaneously, which wasn't a part of the originally planned finish to the match.

The General Managers of Raw and SmackDown had already left the building earlier, so Vince McMahon decided to address the matter himself. He restarted the match and it ended up giving a much better finish. Though unfortunately, Vince also ended up tearing both his quads.

But after that, Riddle said he forgot his lines and just strolled away on live TV. This segment was so awkward and funny that a lot of fans actually liked it. Even Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard didn't try to correct this botched promo.

8 Titus O'Neil's Slide

Titus O'Neil's fall at the Greatest Royal Rumble will be remembered by the fans for ages. That was so funny that WWE kept replaying the moment on our screen throughout the show. Titus became more famous than he was during his entire run in the company just with that one botch.

Titus even got his own "Worldwide Slide" t-shirt released. While it might be one of the most embarrassing moments of his career, it's also his biggest highlight probably.

Randy Orton botched a stomp on Mustafa Ali and it led to one of the greatest storylines in recent years. Because Ali was injured, Kofi filled in for him at Elimination Chamber.

But before that on SmackDown, Kofi gave a great performance in the gauntlet match. That planted the seeds for KofiMania. He finally ended up winning the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35. But if it hadn't been for Ali's unfortunate injury, Kingston would never have been in the title scene.

Fortunately, this one didn't make it to television as it happened around the time when SmackDown was pre-taped. Backstage Cena and Edge were arguing and Rey Mysterio was doing pull-ups using the shelf to get ready for his match.

But the shelf snapped and Mysterio landed on the floor. It was so funny that Edge broke his character in front of the camera. Most people had the same reaction but thankfully, WWE retaped the segment without this botch.
