Vince McMahon still reigns entirely over the WWE with the final word going to him on all matters, as he remains active as ever behind the scenes. And while fans may have their favorite Superstars, they may not be pushed even if they manage to get over. In WWE, McMahon can make and break a lot of stars - as we have seen over the years - and he happens to be very supportive of his personal picks. When McMahon rallies behind a wrestler, he will provide full effort to make sure that he becomes a WWE star as recently witnessed with Roman Reigns.

He may not have a personal relationship with every single talent on the roster, but due to his high involvement in the WWE product, McMahon is always around even if he may not be always accessible. At the moment, he seems to be generally getting along with all Superstars but there are a few who may have gotten on the nerves of the boss. And depending on how the next few months develop, it will be interesting to see whether they can get back in his good graces.

But there are others on the roster who will have to work even harder to get the attention of McMahon since they aren't on his radar at all. Despite being apart of the company, he simply doesn't value them too much as assets to the overall product. With today's list, we look at 8 wrestlers on the WWE roster Vince McMahon is upset with and 8 he just doesn't care about.

16 Upset With: Rusev

via wwe.com

In the past couple months, Rusev has reached new heights of popularity thanks to the emergence of the Rusev Day. Most fans believe that it could be his big break to transition into a main event player, but the company appears to have a contrasting point of view. Based on recent reports, Rusev has been upset with the WWE due to poor booking as well as failing to take advantage of his ongoing buzz.

He even reportedly asked for his release at some point, which is why he was added to the WrestleMania 34 match. But Rusev's smarky remarks on social media may have angered McMahon even more since he was briefly taken out of the scheduled contest against The Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble. For the sake of Rusev Day, we hope that any ongoing tension between him and McMahon will dissolve as soon as possible.

15 Doesn't Care About: Cesaro

After a few years, fans have come to accept that Cesaro will never be pushed as a singles competitor in the WWE. With Cesaro receiving such huge praise from fans and co-workers alike, some have questioned his position on the card. He has never been given a proper push, upsetting those who view him as one of the best wrestlers in the WWE.

Fans should probably shift their frustration towards Vince McMahon, who once claimed that Cesaro lacked "it" to move to the next level.

And since McMahon seems to believe that Cesaro isn't main event material, he has been stuck in the tag team division since then. Cesaro has done well with what he has been given, forming one of the better tag teams with Sheamus. But based on his booking in the company, as well as McMahon's comments, it is evident that Vince doesn't particularly care for Cesaro.

14 Upset With: The Revival

via f4wonline.com

Following an outstanding stint in NXT, fans were all excited to see The Revival's run on the main roster. They got off to a respectable start on Monday Night Raw, but things escalated quickly when they cut a promo, referring to themselves as professional wrestlers. And that is a major red flag in Vince McMahon's book, who didn't let them off the hook. Since then, The Revival's momentum has been completely destroyed, turning into another irrelevant tag team on the roster.

McMahon was probably already skeptical about The Revival and cared very little for their previous work, but they have now made his list. It wouldn't be shocking to see them continue getting lost in the shuffle. And unless they can somehow manage to truly impress McMahon in the coming weeks, then they may be challenging Gallows and Anderson for McMahon's least favorite tag team spot.

13 Doesn't Care About: Bayley

via stillrealtous.com

Bayley is a natural face who exhibits some of Vince McMahon's favorite qualities, but she also has many flaws that may have made her irrelevant in the eyes of the boss. The first chapter of her career had some impressive accolades from her time on NXT to her first year on the roster. But since then, Bayley hasn't really done much as her popularity continues to plummet.

It was Triple H who initially endorsed Bayley to become the Raw Women's Champion and while McMahon may have been persuaded at the time, it's clear that his mind has already been made up regarding Bayley. Her role in the future probably won't be any better than what she has been up to lately, unless Triple H can once again work his magic around his father-in-law to get her another major push on Raw.

12 Upset With: Kevin Owens

via wrestleview.com

If Vince McMahon didn't believe in Kevin Owens, then he wouldn't have had him as the Universal Champion for as long as he did. He also wouldn't have returned on SmackDown to take some major bumps for Owens, but it seems like McMahon isn't particularly satisfied with Owens. At WrestleMania 33, he was disappointed with Owens' match against Chris Jericho, which is probably the reason his career went through a rough patch for the next few months.

And just as Owens was gaining momentum, he got into trouble along with Sami Zayn on tour and were sent back home - much to the disappointment of McMahon again. Owens will have to make a believer out of him just as he previously has, and his return to Monday Night Raw may be the perfect opportunity to remind the WWE Universe that he remains one of the best Superstars today.

11 Doesn't Care About: Asuka

It's no secret that Asuka was a Triple H signing, whom has greatly supported her career since then. Asuka was on the receiving end of a major push for a while, and while most anticipated her to win the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 33, it seems like Vince McMahon had a different plan. Most fans believe that Vince simply doesn't see Asuka as a long term draw, believing that it's better to build up for a future bout between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

With the undefeated streak coming to an end, Asuka's career is at an interesting period.

She may continue to excel in the WWE, but if McMahon truly doesn't care about her as some have guessed, then she may be in trouble. With Triple H's growing influence in the company, she may be on the safe side for now at least.

10 Upset With: Lana

via wwe.com

A few years ago, Lana had a major role as Rusev's manager as she featured in some major storylines at the time. Since last year, Lana hasn't contributed much to the WWE product with most of her appearances coming through Total Divas. And with Vince McMahon being upset with Rusev, his wife has also gotten on his bad side due to her backstage attitude. Lana has had heat with multiple Superstars during her career, landing her in trouble with management.

She has also broken kayfabe a number of times by dropping the accent and ruining the Dolph Ziggler storyline, which most likely infuriated McMahon. At this point, the only two reasons she still has a job in the WWE is her involvement in Total Divas as well as her relationship to Rusev. But if the latter ends on a sour note, then McMahon may be sending Lana on her out as well.

9 Doesn't Care About: Zack Ryder

via wwe.com

It is truly an accomplishment to get over with the WWE Universe on your own. Sadly, that seems to be looked down upon within the company, as many wrestlers have had similar fate. And the first example that comes to mind is Zack Ryder, who created a movement out of thin air, forcing the WWE's hand to feature him more on television. But even when Ryder had a buzz, Vince McMahon didn't happen to be on board with the bandwagon.

In fact, it was reported that McMahon buried Ryder for managing to get over without the company's push.

Surprisingly, Ryder still finds himself on the roster but the clock may be ticking for his WWE career.

And with a history of tension between him and management, even if Ryder didn't mean to upset them, then you can bet that the margin of error is extremely thin for him.

8 Upset With: Brock Lesnar

via wwe.com

Throughout WWE history, there have been plenty of promos that turned into shoots - all of which were scripted by Vince McMahon to deliver a message to a Superstar while also making an angle out of it. And that's exactly what the company has done with Brock Lesnar, who has been called out by Roman Reigns for being a part timer who works a special schedule. McMahon might not be very fond of Lesnar's attitude and limited commitment, but he understands the value that he brings to the table.

From negotiating with UFC to his backstage shenanigans, Lesnar has done a number of things to upset McMahon in the past year. He has been reckless inside the squared circle, while also threatening to leave the company. But as long as McMahon still sees Lesnar as a draw, he'll continue to put up with him.

7 Doesn't Care About: Dolph Ziggler

via wwe.com

Dolph Ziggler's journey has been intriguing in the WWE thus far. From a multiple time World Champion to not being booked at all, Ziggler has had his ups and downs along the way. A few years, it appeared as if Ziggler may be a main event for years to come, but the booking didn't help him too much to advance to that level. Rumors suggested that Vince McMahon and Triple H were both not that high on Ziggler, preferring several other Superstars over him.

It's not exactly difficult to buy into such rumors when you look at what has been done with Ziggler since his last reign.

And while McMahon may value Ziggler as a mid-carder or tag team wrestler, he certainly doesn't appear to be important enough to feature in his more recent plans. At this point, Ziggler is probably just there to provide a veteran presence in the eyes of McMahon.

6 Upset With: Neville

via stillrealtous.com

Walking out on your WWE contract is one way to quickly get on Vince McMahon's bad side. That mission was successfully accomplished by Neville last October after requesting his release from the company. But McMahon refused to grant it, opting to have Neville sit out the remainder of his contract. At some point, rumors suggested that negotiations had gotten back on track with a possible solution to please both sides.

But those discussions didn't last too long, as they once again fell through. McMahon probably views Neville as a bad influence to the rest of the locker room, especially if he allows him to have an influence on his future. Since Neville was upset with the creative team, as well as his position in the company, he decided to part ways with the WWE. And if McMahon were to cooperate with him, then other Superstars may pull the same stunt in the future.

5 Doesn't Care About: Kofi Kingston

via wwe.com

Kofi Kingston's career had an impressive start as he quickly became an established WWE Superstar. But he lacked charisma at the time to make him a main eventer, which is why he was put into the tag team division. At the time, it is likely that all members of the WWE creative team had expected The New Day to flop, although they managed to exceed all expectations by becoming one of the premier teams in the company, as well as top merchandise sellers.

The chances of another solo run by Kingston are likely very slim at this point since he was never someone that McMahon was particularly behind. For the remainder of his WWE career, he will likely continue to perform in the tag team division. And if he happens to get a solo run, then McMahon will probably only use him to put over younger Superstars.

4 Upset With: Jinder Mahal

via wwe.com

It's not often when WWE throws a curve ball as gigantic as Jinder Mahal capturing the WWE Title. Fans were all shocked to see him come out victorious at the time since Jinder had mostly served as a low-card wrestler to jobber. But Jinder's major push as a heel and the top name of SmackDown backfired, as he was mostly ignored by fans rather than jeered. His popularity and impact on the Indian market have also been severely disappointing, which undoubtedly upset McMahon in return.

He may not be upset with Jinder on a personal level, but McMahon did grant him a lifetime opportunity with some heavy expectations in mind.

And since Jinder clearly failed to reward their faith in him, he has fallen down the card and will probably continue to do so - as we saw him drop the US title to the newly returning Jeff Hardy.

3 Doesn't Care About: Bray Wyatt

via wwe.com

Not only does it seem like Vince McMahon doesn't care about Bray Wyatt, but fans may be approaching that territory as well. His recent angle with Matt Hardy may have gotten him some fans back, but he has been mostly carried throughout the entire storyline. And prior to that, he wasn't doing much on the roster despite having been a WWE Champion just a year ago.

Wyatt was involved in some of WWE's most major angles in the past couple years, including rivalries against legendary figures such as The Undertaker and John Cena. After trying to make Wyatt a consistent main event player for the past years, McMahon may have finally given up on him. With his recent placement in the tag team division, chances are that Wyatt will be competing there for a while unless he miraculously gets over with the WWE Universe.

2 Upset With: Finn Balor

via twitter.com

Finn Balor became the first WWE Universal Champion, but injuries put him out of action for a while. By the time he returned, his spot had been claimed as he had to fight his way back to the top. And while he has had a decent run, it has been underwhelming to say the least.

Last year, it was reported that Vince McMahon believed that Balor should be way more over with the fans, as he was disappointed with his popularity.

And since McMahon seems to be upset with Balor not reaching his expectations, that has created a debate among fans. There are some who support The Chairman, while others claim that Balor has been hurt by weak booking and non-existent storylines. But due to his good relationship with Triple H, Balor should be getting a fair amount of opportunities even if McMahon may not be a huge fan.

1 Doesn't Care About: Sami Zayn

via wwe.com

It is clear at this point that Vince McMahon isn't one of Sami Zayn's biggest supporters. But he doesn't have an agenda against him either, it just appears that McMahon simply doesn't care for him. Whether Zayn can change his mind remains to be seen, especially now that he has been allowed to show some personality on the mic. His return to Monday Night Raw along with Kevin Owens may be exactly what he needs to earn McMahon's admiration.

And since Triple H is already endorsing Zayn to become a top WWE Superstar, then his chances are already at a decent level compared to some of his peers. But in order to truly leave a mark on the WWE, Zayn may have to push himself even harder. This next year is crucial to determine how his career may play out in the future.
