Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is arguably the most accomplished, decorated and beloved superstar in WWE history. The man did so freaking well as a wrestler that it made him arguably the biggest movie star in all of Hollywood. Indeed, we will always smell what The Rock is cooking.
As many of you know, Rock also comes from a giant wrestling family. He's real-life cousins with Roman Reigns (as you knew), and his grandfather Peter Maivia was among the first Samoan professional wrestlers.
But many of you may not be aware of just how huge The Rock's family tree of professional wrestling is. He's related to some of the biggest superstars, both past and present. But besides Roman Reigns, who else is he related to?
Here are five wrestlers you had no idea were related to The Rock.
Part of the legendary Anoa'i family, Umaga was a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and had two stints with the company. He was a solid heel who feuded with fan favorites like John Cena and D-Generation X. Tragically, Umaga died from a heart attack at the age of 36 in 2009 which was apparently brought on by drug overdose.
You may not have known this, but Umaga was also distant cousins with The Rock, who is also part of the Anoa'i family. The family tree is huge and somewhat hard to follow, but these two WWE stars were in fact related.
Umaga's brother also happens to be related to The Rock...
Who can forget Rikishi? The 425-pound man was known for showing off is large...derriere. You all remember the time when Rock forced Vince McMahon to kiss Rikishi's behind, much to the delight of fans and Jim Ross.
As you guessed, Rikishi is also real-life cousins with The Rock and part of the Anoa'i family. With the giant family tree, the relations between Rock and Rikishi are distant and complicated. Both men have had tremendous careers; Rikishi won four championships and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.
Rosey was best remembered for his partnership with The Hurricane where they often went by "The Super Heroes". These kid-friendly superstars won the World Tag Team Championship once and stayed together for two years.
Sadly, Rosey passed away at the age of 47 due to heart failure this past April. He left behind three children. Rosey's real-life brother, Roman Reigns, continues to wrestle and add more to the family legacy. Rosey was also distant cousins with The Rock as their grandfathers were brothers. Not too complicated, now is it?
Rosey's passing was untimely, shocking and tragic. But with Reigns and Rock continuing to add to the family legacy, we know Rosey's legacy will never go away.
One of the early Anoa'i family members to step into a WWF ring, Yokozuna brought his massive 6-foot-4, 641-pound frame to intimidate his opponents. The 2012 WWE Hall of Fame inductee won two World Heavyweight Championships and a pair of Tag Team titles during his tenure with the company.
Yokozuna tragically passed away at age 34 in 2000 from pulmonary edema, a medical case where his lungs were blocked by fluids. His legacy continues to live on in the Anoa'i wrestling family.
Yokozuna also had relations with The Rock who was his cousin. He was also cousins with Rikishi, Rosey, Umaga, Reigns and the Usos.
1. Nia Jax
Most WWE fans already knew that Reigns and The Usos were related to The Rock. After all, Rock made it more obvious by celebrating with Reigns after he won the 2015 Royal Rumble.
But you probably didn't know that Nia Jax - one of the most dominant talents in the women's division - also has a relation to The Rock. According to Jax, the two are cousins as her grandfather was the uncle of Rock's granddad.
It's safe to guess there are few awesome cousin relationships like this one.
