As a result of professional wrestling walking a fine line between sports shows and entertainment programs, some things can get downright weird.

During the storyline, Young announced that she was pregnant with Herny's child.

8 Lita's Baby

In 2004, Lita became involved in a storyline between Matt Hardy and Kane after the latter kidnapped her and held her hostage. Hardy and Kane would then feud, with the winner marrying Lita. Kane won the match and the two were married on an episode of Monday Night Raw. In an angle that only Vince Russo could have dreamt up, Terri Runnels claimed to be pregnant with Val Venis' child in late 1998 but being a careless adult film star, he left Runnels on her own.

Weeks later, D'Lo Brown would accidentally knock Runnels off the apron which she claimed caused her to miscarry her child. This would later prove to be a lie, but this entire storyline was an abortion and should have never happened.

6 Claire Lynch

It's amazing to think that TNA Impact had stars like AJ Styles on their roster, only to squander his talents with storylines like the Claire Lynch story.  The storyline saw Styles accused of impregnating a woman, named Claire Lynch, despite having no memory of the encounter. The storyline led to Styles challenging Daniels for the right to a paternity test, which Styles won. It was eventually revealed that the pregnancy was revealed to be a scam.

The storyline was hated and is considered one of the worst storylines in TNA's history. Thankfully, Styles would eventually leave TNA and establish himself as one of the biggest stars in the world.

5 Lana's Pregnancy

Liv Morgan Lana

In 2019, Lana and Rusev were involved in a storyline that saw Lana involved in an on-screen relationship with Bobby Lashley. The storyline was heavily criticized and seemed to be a rehashing of an earlier storyline involving the pair. During the Rusev-Lana-Lashley storyline, Lanan claimed that she was pregnant and that Rusev was the father.

The segment ended up being a trap, which resulted in Lashley beating Rusev down after the Bulgarian Brute came to the ring to confront Lana. Thankfully, the story was eventually dropped as Lashley broke off from Lana to align with MVP.

Before becoming Stacy Keibler in WWE, she previously worked for WCW under the name of Miss Hancock. During her time in WCW, Keibler dated David Flair, the son of legendary wrestler Ric Flair. Keibler and Flair engaged in both a real-life and on-screen relationship at the time as they feuded with the likes of the Page family and the Misfits in Action stable.

During the storyline, Flair and Keibler were in the middle of their on-screen wedding ceremony when Keibler revealed that she was pregnant. According to Ric Flair's autobiography, he or WCW writer Vince Russo was picked to be the storyline father of Keibler's child. The creative team thankfully changed directions and abandoned the storyline altogether.

3 Kelly Kelly

In 2010, noted television host Jerry Springer arrived on Monday Night Raw to be the guest host of the show. During the episode, Springer hosted a segment akin to his controversial television show. The segment was given the subtitle, Superstar's Most Intimate Relationships, and featured Kelly Kelly as the first guest.

In the segment, Kelly Kelly revealed that she was pregnant but that she was unsure of who the father was. Some of the potential fathers included Santino Marella, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole, and Chris Masters. In the end, it was revealed that Hornswoggle was the father. At the end of the segment, Lawler revealed that it was all a joke played on Springer.

2 Maria Kanellis

In 2017, Maria Kanellis returned to WWE for the first time since 2010 and this time was accompanied by her husband Mike Bennett. The two were booked as an on-screen couple during their time and would be booked in storylines together. In July 2019, following a mixed tag team match against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, Maria revealed that she was pregnant with the couple's second child.

After making the announcement, Maria would frequently humiliate Mike and claimed that he was not the baby's real father. The storyline was eventually dropped and the couple was released from their contracts in April 2020. According to Kanellis, the storyline was meant to end with Mike turning on her and having a run as a face.

Stephanie has followed her father and brother's footsteps in joining the WWE and had several on-screen authority roles in the promotion. Stephanie is also married to Triple H and the two have three children together.

In 2001, McMahon and Triple H were in the process of going through a storyline divorce when Stephanie announced that she was pregnant.
