Details On WWE 2K18 DLC Revealed

WWE and 2K revealed all of the playable characters that will be available as a part of their downloadable content for WWE 2K18.

The release of WWE 2K18 is almost upon us. If you're going for the deluxe edition of this year's offering from WWE 2K then you'll be able to play the video game in a little more than two weeks, four days before everybody else. WWE 2K18 promises to be a vast improvement on any pro wrestling game that came before with advancements in graphics, gameplay, and the biggest roster ever.

The mammoth amount of playable characters was gradually revealed to us over the summer and as per usual with these things, there were still some omissions. Some of the absent names that puzzled fans were The Hardy Boyz, Drew McIntyre, and Elias Samson. Well clearly 2K was listening, or this was the plan all along, and those complaints have been remedied.

Earlier this week, WWE and 2K began revealing the characters that would be made available as downloadable content after the game has been released. Since the cat was already out of the bag thanks to Matt Hardy and the TV spot during No Mercy, The Hardy Boyz were the first to be announced. The seven other acts that will join them are Ruby Riot, Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, Elias Samson, Beth Phoenix, Lars Sullivan, and The Rock N Roll Express.

Despite the sheer size of this year's roster, it was always going to get bigger as 2K always offers more Superstars in the way of DLC. Last year, the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Nia Jax were not made available until after the game had been released. 2K also offered up the rest of the details on what will be included in the DLC this year, including a new moves pack and a kick start for your created character in the My Career mode.

Although these extra Superstars have been announced ahead of the game's release, they will not be available until at least the end of the year with 2K revealing fans will have access to it towards the end of 2017 with some of it not being released until early 2018, so you'll have a wait on your hands if you want to expand your NXT Universe or have any dream matches featuring The Glamazon.
