The Latest WWE 2K18 Trailer Features Snoop Dogg

WWE 2K18 is set to launch in just a few weeks, but to get fans excited, Snoop Dogg lent his talents for the latest trailer.

The new TV spot for WWE 2K18 premiered during No Mercy on Sunday night, and the soundtrack for it was supplied by the one and only Snoop Dogg.

We are now only a few weeks away from the release of WWE 2K18. On Oct. 17, 2017, the latest installment in the WWE 2K series will be released, and this year the theme is "Be Like No One". The cover star is Seth Rollins and the blockbuster bonus character this year is Kurt Angle, taking the place of Goldberg filled last year.

In the past few months, the ads revolving around the game focused on those two stars mentioned above. Rollins burning down a warehouse filled with WWE memorabilia and Angle arriving at the scene to find the place in ruins. At No Mercy this past Sunday, however, we were treated to a new commercial for the video game. This one featured a litany of WWE Superstars, past and present, as well as a familiar voice singing their praises.

That voice belonged to none other than Snoop Dogg. The rapper provided the soundtrack for this latest TV spot for WWE 2K18 and it wasn't what you might expect. Instead of using a pre-existing track of Snoop's, the WWE Hall of Famer riffed along to the ad as his words matched up with the Superstars we saw on screen. If you've not seen it already, take a look below.

Snoop Dogg has a long history with pro wrestling— specifically WWE—and is a big fan of the business. As touched on above, he is actually a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. The hip-hop artist has appeared at WrestleManias throughout the years and even accompanied his cousin, Sasha Banks to the ring for her match at WrestleMania 32.

WWE 2K18 is set to be perhaps the biggest video game the WWE released in recent years. The graphics and gameplay appear to have been overhauled in a major way as well as the game featuring the biggest roster in WWE video game history. If you're a fan of the WWE 2K games, then there's not much longer to wait, and if you order the deluxe edition you'll be able to play WWE 2K18 in less than three weeks time.
