WWE 2K20 might be the buggiest wrestling game to have ever lived. Its first patch was released on Friday morning, and here's what has been addressed.

WWE 2K20 has been on the market for a week and a half. The game has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The glitches are so bad that some of them are just downright hilarious. The graphics have somehow gotten worse than not only last year's game, but even the game before that. And we're not sure anyone has managed to successfully play 2K20 online yet.

Most games release a day one patch which fixes minor issues. However, the problems with 2K20 were so extensive that the patch never came. Instead, players have had to wait until day 11 of the game's lifetime, posting funny videos of the crazy glitches they come across in the meantime. The 1.02 patch is now here across all platforms, and here are the issues that have been addressed, courtesy of Forbes.

A lot of the notes are pretty vague and cover pretty vast areas. Points such as gameplay and controls, and graphics and clipping. There have been more specific changes made though like hit detection and aiming improvements, and tweaks to hair physics. That last one has been a long time coming and isn't a problem exclusive to 2K20.

Interactions between Superstars and objects have been addressed, as have the referee's actions. Legless refs getting into all sorts of jams have been our favorite glitches to see to date. Onscreen button prompts, characters “warping” or moving unnaturally, crashing and freezing, image downloads, and entrances and attire have also been fixed.

2K20 has certainly been busy as that's not all. Universe mode's editing and saving has been addressed, problems with created Superstars fixed, commentary and sound effects have been changed, and online stability dealt with. And that's it. A lot of tweaks, changes, and hopefully, fixes. We've not played the game long enough since the patch to know whether these fixes have taken or not. Plus, we're assuming more patches will still be needed going forward.
