Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy have been in a relationship ever since they worked together in NXT. This all changed when she was promoted to the main roster and she revealed that Murphy has been one of the biggest driving forces behind her success over the past few years.

She told Sportsnet: "I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for her [mother], and if it weren’t for my fiancé, Buddy Murphy. He’s the one who came up with my title pose, he’s the one who came up with my ‘insult-to-injury” move, he’s the one who kind of started the cosplay (look), so a lot of at-home factors of what Alexa Bliss is." Murphy was off screen for more than a year after Alexa was promoted to the main roster, so it appears that he spent his time wisely and helped his fiancee to become one of the best-known female wrestlers in the world. 14 Alexa Was Worried That Buddy Would Lose His Job And Have To Return To Australia

Alexa was promoted to the main roster back in the summer of 2016 without her fiance and he was then kept off WWE TV for a number of months before he returned last year as part of Total Divas. Murphy is working for WWE on a visa after moving over from Australia when he was signed to WWE back in 2013. Nia Jax has been Alexa Bliss' best friend both on and off screen for a number of years, but as part of Total Divas when the friendship between the couple was put under a microscope, it appears that Jax has come between her and her fiance a number of times. Alexa and Buddy have been engaged now for a number of years and they are in no hurry to get married.

Larry Steve has become a sensation all on his own over the past year, ever since Alexa brought him ahead of her appearance on Total Divas. She was hoping for a micro pig but fell in love with Larry Steve when she first met him and has been raising him ever since. Because her pet has become such a focal point of her life when it comes to her Instagram presence and her part of Total Divas, he himself has also become a star.

Larry Steve is so much of a star now that he has his own Social Media accounts so that members of the WWE Universe can keep up with him and the many images that the couple share of him on a regular basis. Alexa has had a number of pets over the years and currently has other pets as well, but none of them have become as famous as Larry Steve since his stint on Total Divas, which could be why the WWE star decided to follow in Natalya's footsteps and make her pet its own Instagram so that the WWE Universe can continue to follow him and his updates even when he isn't on TV.

11 Alexa And Buddy Love To Watch Impractical Jokers

Alexa and Buddy are two people who are rarely able to spend any time together because of their busy WWE schedule, but when they do it appears that Bliss spends a lot of her time watching Impractical Jokers. The former Raw Women's Champion has been a huge fan of the show for a number of years and even her pet pig Larry Steve was named after a character in the show.

Murphy stated in an interview with the Miami Herald, that he and Bliss are huge fans of the show and that "Pretty much once a week I would catch her watching the show." Bliss also likes to copy the show and shout her pet pig in the same way that Larry is in the show, but it's cute to see that Bliss and Murphy are able to spend some time together and watch the same TV shows, since Murphy also claimed that he was a huge fan of Seinfeld, but that probably wasn't Alexa's cup of tea. Bliss has shown in recent years that she has a great sense of humour and it's obvious that one of the reasons for this is because she watches this show religiously, it will be interesting to see her as part of Swerved in the future.

10 Buddy Is The Chef In The House

On many episodes of Total Divas, Nikki Bella and John Cena are seen eating out all the time when it comes to date night, but not all couples in WWE do it like that. Bliss and Murphy are just as busy as the other couples who are part of the show, but they like to enjoy some of the simpler things in life, which includes cooking food and staying home on date night.

Alexa is a former Raw Women's Champion so Buddy is the one who is relegated to cooking duty.

But judging by some of the images that Bliss has shared online of her fiance's food, it's easy to see why she allows him to cook. Traditionally, the woman is seen as the cook in any kind of relationship, so it's nice to see that Alexa and Buddy have thrown tradition out of the window and decided to enjoy things the way they like them. 9 Alexa Couldn't Understand Buddy When They First Met

Buddy Murphy moved over to America when he was signed to WWE back in 2013 but he had to adjust to a lot of huge changes in his life at that point. This was the first time that Buddy had gone overseas and he was now being forced to move to America to pursue his dream when he had only ever known Australia. Murphy was forced to leave his entire family behind when he moved to Florida and started working at the Performance Center, but feeling homesick wasn't the only issue that the Australian star had when he was first added to the NXT roster.

Buddy didn't have any friends in America so he was thrown in at the deep end when it came to meeting new people, but he was also quite a hard person to understand. The former NXT Champion confirmed in an interview with Miami Herald, that when he first met his fiancee Alexa Bliss and the duo started hanging out, she wasn't able to understand him, so he had to change up his dialect and adapt to the way that American's speak. Recent episodes of Total Divas have proved that Murphy is definitely much easier to understand now.

8 Both Stars Are Huge Fans Of Disney

Anyone who is a fan of Alexa Bliss will know that she is a huge fan of Disney and has been ever since her parents first took her to Disneyland when she was a child. Bliss has stated in a number of interviews that she likes to visit the theme park at least once a year, but it appears that her fiance also echoes her love of all things Disney based.

Murphy and Bliss have visited Disneyland a number of times throughout their relationship and have even uploaded a number of images showing their love of the place.

Murphy even stated that sometimes when the couple has free time they like to just go for a walk around Disney because it's something that they both enjoy and it allows them to get out into the sun. Bliss also used to have a cat called Matt that she grew up with, but sadly Bliss revealed that he passed away ahead of WrestleMania last year. Bliss' mother brought her the cat when she was just four years old and she stated on Instagram last year that she had been given an incredible 21 years with him. Bliss's parents help the couple a lot when they are out of town and it's thought that they are the ones who step in to look after all of their animals when they are away. This was shown as part of "My daughter is a WWE superstar" when Alexa's mother was around her house helping her to look after her animals. Alexa and her mother have always been close, they see themselves as more of friends than mother and daughter, so she is happy to help out her daughter while she lives her dream.

6 The Couple Recently Welcomed Another Addition To Their Family

As well as Teddy and Izzy, it appears that Alexa also has a dog called Frankie. The former Raw Women's Champion started updating images of the new pet last month and has been besotted with him ever since. Frankie has become a star on Alexa's Instagram as he sunbathes poolside alongside her and even when he was seen snoring.

The tiny white dog with one brown ear looks like a fantastic addition to the family, which now consists of three dogs, a pig, and a spider. That right, Alexa also has a spider called Lucas, whom she also shares images of on Instagram. Buddy stated that she is the love of his life and it appears that with that comes the responsibility of all Alexa's animals too. It appears that it could now be quite a job to look after all of Alexa's pets while she's on the road, how many more is The Goddess of WWE going to purchase? She has a huge heart and all she wants to do is share it with all of gods creatures, which is a fantastic message for her to send to the younger generation of the WWE Universe.

5 Date Night Is Chill Time For Both Stars

Despite being two of the most athletic and exciting stars on WWE's roster right now, it appears that the perfect date night for Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy is for the duo to put on a horror film and order pizza (since it's well known that Alexa loves horror movies). While Murphy stated that the couple were huge fans of theme parks, he also stated that they didn't need new things all the time, sometimes they just enjoyed being in each other's company.

Bliss is on Monday Night Raw, while Murphy is part of 205 Live, which means that the duo is rarely able to spend much time together, but when they do they like the simple things in life like movie nights or just walking around and getting out in the sun. He Told The Miami Herald: "We're simple people, all we need is each other, we don't need fancy things all the time, so that's us, take it or leave it." Given that Bliss and Murphy have very busy lives and are on the road around 300 days a year, it's great that they are able to spend their limited time together going something that they both enjoy.

4 Buddy Gets Along Very Well With Alexa's Mother

Alexa Bliss and her mother have always been very close, as part of "Our Daughter is a WWE Superstar" it was revealed that Bliss' mother gave birth when she was just a teenager and the duo have seemingly been able to grow up together. Alexa's mother pushed her into a number of activities when she was younger and was the person who first introduced her to Disneyland. Bliss has revealed a number of times that her mother is her best friend so any relationship that was going to become serious would have to be approved by her mother and it appears that Murphy is someone who her mother approves of.

Her mother has been a consistent presence throughout her career and it appears that Murphy and Alexa's mother also get along very well.

The duo was seen at home looking after the couple's pets while Alexa was away and they both seemed friendly. Knowing how close Alexa is to her mother, it was obviously important for her future husband to understand that and he definitely has. Murphy has also uploaded a number of images to his Instagram where he claims that Alexa's mother could easily pass for her sister, which has definitely earned him brownie points with her parents.

3 The Couple Have Been Engaged For Almost Three Years

Bliss and Murphy were always quite private about their personal lives before they became cast members on Total Divas, which is why they were able to hide the fact that they were engaged for more than a year. The news was made public back in January 2017 when Murphy posted an image on his Instagram where he referred to Alexa as his "wife to be" but he actually popped the question a long time before the couple decided to let the public know their new relationship status.

Bliss revealed in an interview with Gorilla Position that she and Murphy were actually engaged sometime around Christmas 2015. It wasn't until Alexa was promoted to the main roster and thrust into the spotlight more than eight months later that the WWE Universe started to look deeper into her personal life. There was speculation that their relationship had become much more serious when Alexa was pictured wearing an engagement ring in March 2016 in an image that Murphy once again shared of the couple on his Instagram. Their impending nuptials weren't officially confirmed until the following year when Murphy decided to tell the world that the former Women's Champion was his future wife.

2 The Couple Live Together In Orlando, Florida

Even though Alexa and Buddy are rarely ever at home, the couple has taken up permanent residence in Orlando, Florida which was the place that the duo first met while they were working in NXT. Since they have been engaged now for almost three years, it isn't much of a stretch to assume that they have been living together for as long as well, since they often update images online of them inside their own house with their animals.

The couple has a pet pig called Larry Steve and two pet dogs called Teddy And Izzy to look after while they're on the road, which often falls to Alexa's parents since Murphy's still live in Australia. Even though they are on the road together all the time, the couple is able to have a few hours each week together or even return home for a few days if they are in Florida so that they can relax and see their animals. The living situation was perhaps much easier when they were both living and working in Florida as part of NXT, but times have changed over the past three years and they're now both traveling as part of two completely separate rosters.

1 Alexa Called Buddy "Her Baby Carrot"

Couples always have interesting nicknames for one another, ones that people outside of the relationship wouldn't understand, but with context usually, they all make sense. Alexa and Buddy have the same kind of relationship and while it is unknown what he calls Alexa, she does call him her "Baby Carrot."

This is obviously a play on the fact that Buddy has ginger hair but considering Murphy is almost four years older than Alexa, it's unknown why she calls him a baby. The couple's Instagram accounts are full of images together where they share how much they love each other with the world on a regular basis, but rather than this just being for attention like many couples, this could be because they actually miss one another while they're on the road. A report last year suggested that Alexa and Buddy only saw each other for a few hours a week, which means that the rest of the time they are reduced to video chatting, calling and sending images to one another online. It would be interesting to find out what Murphy's nickname for Alexa is since there aren't many that she could have based on her hair colour since it's always changing.
