The WWE has announced a major shakeup on Monday Night Raw in the wake of Sunday's TLC event.

The promotion will soon house six new stars, who have all gotten promoted from NXT.

The likes of Lars Sullivan, Nikki Cross, EC3, Lacey Evans and the duo of Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight, who make up Heavy Machinery.

This development comes as part of Vince McMahon's massive Raw overhaul. The WWE chairman announced his return to the show this Monday, introducing Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Shane McMahon, with Stephanie revealing that the four of them will be taking charge of Raw moving forward.

The NXT call-ups were announced via video just ahead of Bobby Lashley getting a guitar broken over him by an irate and vengeful Elias. But no date has been set for their appearances.

The company simply announced through Twitter that the stars will be part of the main roster "very, very soon".

Sullivan had teased a possible appearance on Monday Night Raw earlier in the day by means of a tweet which read: "Good morning world!!! Happy Monday". The 30-year-old signed with NXT five years ago following a recommendation from Lashley, who trained him.

Cross, meanwhile, made her name on the independent circuit and TNA before joining NXT in April 2016.

The Scottish star faced Becky Lynch on SmackDown Live early last month, following Lynch's open challenge and put on an impressive show before she was made to tap out.

EC3 made his NXT debut earlier this year but it immediately became clear that he wouldn't be needing much more development before making the move up.

What This Means

Vince's return to Raw was probably expected to have some more zip. But they quartet did make a promise to the WWE Universe, vowing to end absentee management and give the fans what they want.

The introduction of six new wrestlers will probably go a long way on that front, and it will be quite interesting to see who has the brightest spell on the main roster in the future.
