Attire is a huge part of a wrestlers gimmick. From using bright, eccentric colours as a face to the contrast of dark, moody colours as a heel.

Wrestlers go through many a wardrobe change in the WWE. In an aim to freshen things up and add spice to their character. This certainly applies to Bayley, who has worn a wide arrange of attire during her time in WWE and NXT.

As a result, some of her wrestling gear has looked sensational. However, she has also sported some questionable attire. So much so, that a list has been created highlight her 5 best attires as well as her 5 worst.

10 Best: Current Attire

The current heel run of Bayley is potentially the highlight of her career thus far. She is superb on the mic, in the ring and her attire looks badass. Moving away from the colourful, over the top gear towards a more subtle approach.

More is less here, as the black and gold gear looks brilliant and adds to her current persona. She also switches it up now and then to blue and white as well as black and white. However, the classic gold and black is by far the best one.

9 Worst: Before WWE

Before her run in the WWE, Bayley worked on the independent scene. Safe to say her attire has improved drastically over the years. Back then going under the name Davina Rose she wore a more dumbed down version of her NXT attire.

From sporting bright orange to a dull purple, it did not look good. On top of that, Bayley also wore shorts on the independents now and again. Which just looks odd now considering she has never done so in WWE.

8 Best: NXT: Takeover Brooklyn

One of the greatest women matches of all time also featured one of Bayley's best attires. Bayley and Sasha Banks produced a blockbuster of a match for the NXT Women's Title. On top of this, the white and gold gear Bayley wore looked absolutely sensational.

The detail on the pants looked brilliant. With gold ribbons draped over one leg and the mix of white and gold always calls for a killer attire. Fitting ring gear for one of the best Takeover matches of all time.

7 Worst: NXT Debut

Most wrestlers first attire in WWE isn't great. This was also the case for Bayley who debuted against Paige in March of 2013. With her hair down and curled and wearing generic, bland green gear she looked like a classic jobber.

It was similar to the attire she wore on the independents. It did nothing to make her stand out and made her look like the random development talent WWE bring in for wrestlers to squash.

6 Best: Wrestlemania 36

Again coming back to gear she wears presently. At Wrestlemania 36, Bayley successfully defended the Smackdown Women's Title. The match was okay but obviously, with it being behind closed doors the magic just isn't the same.

However, the attire Bayley wore looked great and had a brilliant meaning. Sporting a grey/gold combo with hidden messages such as her former "I'm a Hugger" catchphrase being closed behind her current Bayley stamp. As well as hearts and hugging emoji being broken and shattered highlighting her transformation.

5 Worst: RAW Before Elimination Chamber 2019

Yeah, this one was dreadful. Bayley and Sasha Banks secured a place in the Women's Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber match. However, the black and white chequered combo mixed with red that Bayley wore looked all out of sorts.

It did have a cool touch as it had Sasha's 'Boss' logo on it but that's not enough to save it. Simply put, it was just ugly and the colour combo was a major mismatch. Thankfully it wasn't worn for too long and this monstrosity was quickly put away.

4 Best: NXT Women's Champion

Now, this is how to make red gear look good. Back when Bayley was NXT Women's Champion she usually sported her red and gold ring gear. It looked simplistic, cool and fresh with the combo of red and gold mixing really well.

It was so good in fact, that she has used it again on occasion. It can simply be a fact of the less the better, with a more simple look being way more eyecatching than something over the top.

3 Worst: Start Of The Hugger Phase

Bayley has worn some brilliant attire during her hugger gimmick. With many of it being inspired by 'The Macho Man' Randy Savage. However, during the start of the gimmick, it clearly wasn't inspired by the WWE legend.

As stated above sometimes less is more, but that doesn't mean you should just put on all blue attire. It looked boring, uninteresting and adding nothing to her gimmick. They could have used brighter colours at least to start off with.

2 Best: Wrestlemania 34

This look was just straight-up perfection. Back at Wrestlemania 34, Bayley was competing in the inaugural Women's Battle Royal. She entered the ring wearing a gold/blue vest to match her ring gear and it was suited for 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All'.

Now onto the ring gear, the detail was fantastic. Her pants featured a woman releasing a golden serpent-like creature which wrapped around her ring gear. It is a very underrated ring gear especially considering the detail involved.

1 Worst: Raw Women's Title Win

Not the best attire to wear when you celebrate winning a major title. Back in 2017, Bayley beat Charlotte Flair on Raw to win the Raw Women's Title. It was a monumental win for the recent NXT graduate but the purple ring gear looked awful.

It had 80's inspired splashes on the sides which also didn't look very appealing. It was a mismatch of colours and generally, purple ring gear doesn't look good unless you are The Undertaker.
