Wyatt’s belt has a theme meant to look like the mask he wears during his alter ego presentation of The Fiend. WWE is even selling replicas of the title in limited quality on their website at massive price of $6,500. The company is clearly investing in Wyatt as one of the biggest stars to build around.

9 Laycool's Women's Championship

The Women’s Championship win of Layla would see her and Michelle McCool finding a way to share the title. LayCool were portrayed as best friends that wanted to share all their accolades together and they found a creative way to do it with the title.

The ladies split the title in two, with each woman having half of it. Most fans strongly disliked the idea of treating a title that way, especially since Layla was the one to technically win it. LayCool’s customized version of the Women’s Championship was viewed a rather weak one, despite the well intentions of breaking the belt into two.

8 Edge's Rated R WWE Championship

Edge becoming WWE Champion would see him change up the belt from John Cena’s customized version. The spinning aspect of the title remained, but Edge added his Rated R logo as the centerpiece for the championship belt.

WWE finally went all the way with Edge after his prior title reign ended within a few weeks. The new customized title made Edge come off as an even bigger star. Fans of Edge loved the idea while his heel character made his detractors oppose it.

7 Zack Ryder's Internet Championship

Zack Ryder was responsible for the design of a championship title he came up with. The title came as part of Ryder’s humorous online series Z! True Long Island Story, where Ryder would make fun of how WWE never pushed him.

Ryder's popularity started to grow online, and he started calling himself "The Internet Champion." He continued to gain more steam and eventually had the Internet Championship made in his likeliness. WWE even allowed him to show it on television a few times!

6 Mankind's Hardcore Championship

The career of Mick Foley would see him be remembered most for his violent hardcore matches. Vince McMahon came up with an idea for a gift for Mankind when they were working together in The Corporation.

McMahon presented him with what was known as the Hardcore Championship, though its intentions were anything but good. It was elaborately designed to look horrible, showing how little McMahon actually cared about Foley and to set the tone for the belt. The Hardcore Division turned into a fun aspect of the show, with others competing for a title initially that was initially used to mock Foley.

5 The Rock's Brahma Bull WWE Championship

The Rock became one of the most beloved WWE superstars during the Attitude Era. WWE realized Rock was going to lead the company into the future and gave him a huge push to showcase that.

There was a tease of the Brahma Bull WWE Championship belt's design that sadly never made it to television. Fans still wish Rock had the chance to use the Brahma Bull title designed like his logo for a long run.

4 Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Championship

Ted DiBiase was among the top stars that never won the WWE Championship during the 90s. This would see DiBiase creating his own Million Dollar Championship belt. The title had a great design that became part of DiBiase’s character for the better.

Virgil was the only person to defeat DiBiase for the title for a short title reign. The title would return in future years for Steve Austin and Ted DiBiase Jr. as part of their character. DiBiase Sr. is the only one that found success with the title.

3 Daniel Bryan's Eco-Friendly WWE Championship

Daniel Bryan’s 2018 heel turn led to a tremendous WWE Championship reign. The eco-friendly nature of Bryan’s real life became part of his character. Bryan talked down to the audience for not caring enough about the environment and their general wasteful actions.

The new character would see Bryan introduce a new eco-friendly title to replace the leather championship belt. Bryan’s belt stood out as a cool new title and played a huge role in his character progression. Fans still hope that Bryan will bring back the title if he becomes world champion again in WWE.

2 John Cena's spinner WWE Championship

The transition from the rapping character to the PG era of John Cena would see him in a weird grey area during his first WWE Championship reign. Cena was still close enough to the hip hop character that he got to introduce a new title belt customized for him.

This belt would see the golden WWE symbol with the ability to spin. Cena sold a lot of replica belts to young fans who enjoyed the fun nature of the championship. The title became part of Cena’s legacy and will always be remembered for his run as the WWE Champion.

1 Steve Austin's Smoking Skull WWE Championship

The success of Steve Austin during the Attitude Era saw him become the most popular star of the Attitude Era. Austin’s smoking skull logo would become even more beloved when he received his own custom version of the WWE Championship.

Fans love the look of the Smoking Skull Championship since it was the first major instance of a wrestler changing the design of the WWE Championship for his own image. Austin continued to dominate the wrestling world with an iconic championship that perfectly represented his greatness.
