In case you were worried about the WWE.... Don't Be! Things for the organization are doing just fine! They have the huge deal with FOX to air SmackDown starting in 2019, Vince McMahon himself has seen his networth jump to over $2 billion and things are going so well it looks like they are going to be building a bigger and better Performance Center.

The rumor about the new building came from none other than Bobby Roode during an interview Little Rock television station KRAK before last night's episode of Raw. Discussing the future plans for the WWE's developmental process, Roode said, "From what I hear, it’s going to continue to grow. I heard that they’re looking to build a new facility — a larger facility."

Obviously this isn't concrete proof of anything and is just something that Roode has heard talked about. But it doesn't seem like that crazy an idea either. With the move of SmackDown to Fox and the uncertainty of some Superstar contracts (Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar for examples), as well as the competition for talent from other organizations like NJWP - developing their own talent is a key to the WWE's future.

Just like during the Monday Night Wars when the WCW was buying huge names away from the WWE, McMahon focused his attention on developing and growing the great talent he did have - and it worked.

The current Performance Center in Orlando, Florida opened on July, 11th 2013. It covers 26,000 square feet and has seven training rings. The strength and conditioning programs are world class - as are the video and editing facilities on site. The center is training about 65-70 wrestlers at any given time. And along with wrestlers the center is also a training ground for referees, announcers, commentators and backstage interviewers.

If this is true, when it will happen is still up in the air - or at least Roode doesn't have that information as he didn't expound on his comments or give any concrete details beyond that.
