Roman Reigns returns to Raw tonight following an absence due to illness and we will finally get that in-ring Shield reunion.

At TLC last month The Shield were scheduled to make their in-ring return. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose were due to do battle with five men in the pay-per-view's main event. However, The Big Dog was struck down with a virus that ran rampant through the Raw locker room and has been absent from WWE ever since.

Kurt Angle stepped in for an ill Roman Reigns at TLC, then Triple H has been acting as the honorary third member of The Shield on WWE's recent European tour. It was confirmed last week though that Reigns would return on this Monday's Raw so no more substitutes would be necessary. The trouble is Survivor Series is just six days away and the WWE Universe is still patiently waiting for that real Shield reunion.

Well, WWE looked to be on the road to remedying that last week. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose already had plans for Survivor Series. That was until New Day cost them their Tag Team Championships on Raw last week. Now, it seems as if we're heading towards a Shield versus New Day match on Sunday night. Fear not though WWE fans. Whether that match happens or not you won't have to wait for that Shield match.

Tonight on Raw The Hounds of Justice will take on the team of The Miz and The Bar. Rollins and Ambrose will be out for revenge against the duo that took their titles in Manchester last week and they'll have their fearless leader by their side to do so.

Tonight's Raw is shaping up to be a pretty big show. Not only will The Shield compete together for the first time since 2014, but Brock Lesnar will also be making an appearance to address the change in his Survivor Series opponent. Plus, there will be a triple threat to decide the fifth and final member of Raw's women's team for this Sunday, a match rumored to include the return to television of Paige.
