WWE Couples Who Are Married As Of 2018

While most sports have their fair share of famous siblings, and many stars managed to pass their sporting genes down to their offsprings, there are far fewer sports that feature married couples in their lineups. Perhaps that is due to most rosters being confined to one gender, however, this is where the WWE differs from most sports.

In addition to its fair share of siblings, the WWE also has several married couples, some of whom are active superstars and some who work behind the scenes. Let's take a look at the WWE couples who are married as of 2018.

10. Stephanie McMahon And Triple H

Having officially tied the knot back in 2003, their marriage was surrounded by controversy when many accused Triple H of marrying Stephanie to gain more power in wrestling, however, Stephanie played her part in silencing their critics.

Both husband and wife have remained heavily involved in WWE programming right up to the present day. Stephanie McMahon is the General Manager of Raw, whilst Triple H is currently the WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, and was recently involved in a tag team match with Shawn Michaels at Crown Jewel.

9. The Miz and Maryse

Having married in 2014 in the Bahamas, the couple welcomed the birth of their first child earlier this year. While Maryse is a former WWE Diva's Champion and on-screen manager of The Miz, she has taken an understandable hiatus from WWE since becoming a mom.

The Miz, on the other hand, has remained active on the roster, and took on Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at Wrestlemania 34 days after his daughter's birth. With Rollins emerging victorious and winning the Intercontinental Championship Title, The Miz will be looking to reclaim the title and find a balance between wrestling and fatherhood.

8. Tyson Kidd And Natalya Neidhart

While Natalya is a member of the iconic Hart family, Tyson Kidd has been close with the Hart family since the age of 10, when he became good friends with Teddy and David Hart Smith. Tyson met Natalya when he was 14 and she was 12, and both went on to become products of Stu Hart's dungeon, which was a wrestling gym in the basement of the Hart mansion.

The couple lived together for 12 years before marrying in 2013, and have certainly braved some tough times together, including Tyson's life-threatening neck injury in 2015. With Tyson is now restricted to a backstage role in WWE as a producer, Natalya is still an active superstar and will certainly be looking to add to her past success as a Diva's Champion.

7. Mike And Maria Kanellis

This WWE couple tied the knot in 2014, after six years of dating. Mike made his WWE debut at Money in the Bank alongside Maria and is currently a member of the SmackDown roster.

Maria, on the other hand, left wrestling mostly behind in 2011, although she has made occasional appearances, especially with her husband at her side. Earlier this year, the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Frederica Moon. Since then, appearances of both husband and wife have been sparse, with Maria being entirely absent from the WWE and Mike only appearing occasionally.

6. Daniel Bryan And Brie Bella

This well-known wrestling couple exchanged vows in 2014, in the middle of the woods. This romance was actually the result of the couple's on-screen romance, which was a scripted storyline devised by the WWE.

This is clearly one of the stronger WWE marriages, as once Daniel was cleared to compete in wrestling again after a two year hiatus due to injury, he gave Brie credit for getting him through this tough time, stating that she motivated him by saying “If you fight for your dreams, your dreams will fight for you.” Brie gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Birdie Joe Danielson, earlier this year.

5. Jimmy Uso And Naomi

Jimmy is the son of Hall of Famer Rikishi, and is in a tag team with his twin brother Jey. Together they have asserted their dominance as one of the most formidable tag teams in the WWE. Naomi, on the other hand, was a dancer for NBA team Orlando Magic and went on to compete in WWE NXT. She was the winner of the inaugural Women's Battle Royale at Wrestlemania 34, and has won the SmackDown Women's Championship twice.

The couple married in 2014 on a beach in Hawaii, and the ceremony was documented on Total Divas.

4. Rusev And Lana

Rusev is one of the most intimidating superstars on the SmackDown roster. He makes sure to always go beyond the bare minimum in order to emerge victorious in his matchups, and remained undefeated for almost a year after making his WWE debut. Partly deserving of the credit for making him so formidable is his ambassador and wife, Lana, who coaches him from the sidelines during matches.

While Lana has occasionally been involved in some in-ring action, her main involvement in the WWE has been in grooming Rusev into the superstar he is today. In the ultimate show of devotion, Lana accepted Rusev's marriage proposal in 2015.

3. CM Punk And AJ Lee

While neither are still active in the WWE, this couple is still worthy of a mention due to their contribution to the sport. AJ Lee holds the record for most combined days as WWE Divas Champion at 406 days, while CM Punk is the sixth longest reigning WWE Champion at 434 days, which is the longest reign for any superstar in the modern era.

The couple married in 2014 in a private, unpublicized wedding, which was infamously the day that CM Punk was officially let go by the WWE. On the bright side, AJ Lee proved the strength of her and Punk's bond as she stood by her husband and retired from the WWE as a way of supporting him during such a tumultuous time.

2. Dean Ambrose And Renee Young

This couple began dating in 2015, and tied the knot soon after in 2016. Renee explained that Dean won her over due to his subtle approach to dating and the way that he would call her over the phone instead of simply sending a text. She also revealed that he is (unbelievably) one of the quieter personalities backstage.

A grand slam champion; Dean had a record-setting reign as U.S. Champion and famously won the Raw Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam alongside Seth Rollins after the pair mended their relationship. Renee, on the other hand, has had a phenomenal run as a WWE broadcaster since 2012, where she started off as a co-host of WWE Aftermath, eventually working her way up to becoming the first woman to secure a full-time spot on the Raw announcer's team.

1. The Undertaker And Michelle McCool

The Undertaker is one of the all-time greats, with a list of achievements second to none. He is a multiple-time WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, six-time Tag Team Champion and Royal Rumble Winner in 2007. He is also a record setter who competed in the inaugural Casket match, Buried Alive match and Hell in a Cell match.

Michelle McCool has also had her fair share of WWE fame. She caught the attention of SmackDown while competing in the Diva Search of 2004, and was signed onto the brand's roster a year later. Not only was Michelle the inaugural Divas Champion, but she was also the first ever simultaneous title holder of both the Divas and Women's Championships. She eventually ended her prolific WWE career in 2011.

This power couple married on June 26th, 2010 in Houston, Texas.
