It has been reported by the Eagle-Tribune in Massachusettes that WWE NXT developmental talent Terrance Jean-Jacques, who signed with the WWE back in April, was arrested last Sunday after he allegedly struck his pregnant girlfriend.
ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting more details saying that the incident started when Jean-Jacques' girlfriend asked him to leave their apartment in the middle of the night. This reportedly set him off and his girlfriend, Jillian Gilman, told the police that he then twisted her arm and knocked her to the ground and then sat on her legs.
Sources say that Gilman feared for her life and she felt that she had no choice but to contact the police.
Terrance is facing multiple charges, including assault and battery, kidnapping, witness intimidation, destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime.
Jean-Jacques was arraigned Wednesday and a judge denied a request to release Terrance into the care of his parents and he was ordered to be held without bail until a hearing.
ProWrestling.net received this statement from the WWE regarding the incident and revealing that Jean-Jacques has been suspended:
"We have zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."
