WWE has a hectic schedule and has a pay-per-view every month. As a result, a majority of feuds usually start after a PPV and they eventually end in another pay-per-view. However, there have been exceptions numerous times, resulting in feuds to end on episodes of SmackDown or Raw.

There could be many reasons for ending a feud on regular weekly episodes. While injuries might abruptly force the company to put an end to a storyline or feud, it could also happen due to a long and tedious rivalry or a sudden title change.

It's no secret that Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks have bad blood between them, and they don't really like each other in real life. The arch-rivals have collided in the ring a few times, and they had a rivalry back in 2017.

The first bout of the feud took place at Great Balls of Fire, where Alexa Bliss, then the Raw Women's Champion, put the belt on the line against Sasha Banks. While Banks won the match by count-out, Bliss still retained the title. In a rematch, Banks beat Bliss fair and square to win the title. However, the reign lasted just one week, as Banks dropped back the title to Bliss on an episode of Raw to end the feud.

Asuka had a short rivalry with Zelina Vega last year, which was certainly a filler feud. Asuka, the Raw Women's Champion, started the rivalry after the 2020 SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Vega and Asuka wrestled at 2020's Clash of Champions, where the champion retained the title. The next Raw after Clash of Champions saw a rematch between these two women, but the result wasn't any different. The feud ended as Vega received her rematch and lost.

Punk defended the title successfully twice, but Hardy got it back at 2009's Night of Champions. He, however, dropped the title once again to Punk at SummerSlam. Hardy lost the rematch on SmackDown, and as per stipulation, he had to leave WWE.

First, they wrestled in a singles match at 2002's Backlash, which was won by the Olympic gold medalist. Edge won the rematch at Judgment Day, where the match was a Hair vs Hair match. Their feud ended in the last SmackDown episode in May, as Edge defeated Angle in a steel cage match.

5 Finn Balor Vs Drew McIntyre (2018)

Getting an automatic rematch, Reigns wrestled Sheamus again at TLC, where the outside interference helped Sheamus to retain the title. The final match of this feud happened on the Raw after TLC. Reigns' career was on the line in that match, but he overcame the odds to reclaim the belt.

2 Naomi Vs Alexa Bliss (2017)

After Alexa Bliss's impressive feud with Becky Lynch, she found a new challenger in Naomi. The Goddess fought Naomi for the SmackDown Women's Championship at the 2017 Elimination Chamber, where the champion was dethroned.

However, an injury forced Naomi to vacate the belt, resulting in Bliss recapturing the title. The feud between Bliss and Noami was reignited once the latter came back and dethroned the former once again in a six-pack challenge match at WrestleMania 33. On the SmackDown after WrestleMania, Naomi and Bliss had their final match of the rivalry, which was won by Naomi, and she remained the champion.
