The recent news of the New World Order getting inducted into the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class has us wondering which future factions should get in. WWE has already inducted some of the most important ones like the Four Horsemen, Fabulous Freebirds, and D-Generation X. Quite a few other groups have valid arguments for getting inducted sooner or later, but not everyone should make the cut.

We will look at both the names that must be inducted and those that fall just short. Not every performer warrants getting a spot in the Hall of Fame. An accomplishment like this should separate the great performers from the very good ones. Only the absolute best should have a place. Find out which category your favorite faction will fall under. These are five legendary factions that should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and five that just miss the cut.

10 Should Be Inducted: The Dangerous Alliance

The greatness of Paul Heyman’s managing skills is known most these days for the run with Brock Lesnar. Heyman had many other great runs as a manager, especially in the early 90s. The Dangerous Alliance became his faction of established and future legends.

Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Madusa, Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko all would get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for their careers. The Dangerous Alliance should see them enter together as an all-time great faction. WCW benefited immensely from Heyman leading the group of wrestlers.

9 Just Missed: The Corporation

Vince McMahon’s heel character in the Attitude Era increased the storytelling element for many wrestlers. The combination of Vince and Shane would see them lead a new faction known as The Corporation with the main intent of stopping Steve Austin’s success.

Wrestlers like the Big Boss Man, Test and Ken Shamrock found an ideal role in the group. The Rock and Triple H each had stints as the top wrestler leading the charge. Unfortunately, The Corporation just didn’t have the lasting power to earn a Hall of Fame spot. It ended before they could form a true legacy.

8 Should Be Inducted: Triple Threat

ECW does not get much love from the WWE Hall of Fame selections and that needs to change. WWE recognizes the importance of ECW along on their various productions about the promotion. The Triple Threat was pivotal for the success of ECW in the late 90s.

Shane Douglas, Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido were the three wrestlers of the group with Francine and Tammy Sytch as their valets. ECW fans loved the Triple Threat and they became the hottest act in the company for a short time. This is the best way to induct them all for their run together.

7 Just Missed: La Familia

La Familia

Edge’s outstanding run as the top heel on Smackdown saw him dating General Manager Vickie Guerrero to stack the odds in his favor. The couple created a faction known as La Familia to surround themselves with others to always have an advantage.

Chavo Guerrero, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins made up the rest of the group essentially playing Edge’s lackeys. La Familia was highly entertaining, but they never reached that legendary status. No one would put them in the same tier as the factions already in the Hall of Fame.

6 Should Be Inducted: Evolution

The importance of Evolution would rank it extremely high among wrestling’s all-time factions. Triple H was the top heel at the time looking to form a new group. Ric Flair turned heel to become Triple H’s mentor and they eventually added Randy Orton and Batista to the mix.

All four wrestlers delivered incredible work together and benefited from the run. Evolution took over the Raw brand with arguably the best of all-time, the active dominant champion and two future world champions. There is no doubt that Evolution should get inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame one day. It would be a record-breaking third induction for Flair.

5 Just Missed: nWo Wolfpac

The New World Order names of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman will get inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame class. Many old-school WCW fans would love to make a case for the nWo Wolfpac also getting inducted for the fun they brought to the screen.

Nash leading the group of fan favorites like Sting, Lex Luger and Randy Savage made them the hottest act in the company. The run didn’t last long enough as the Wolfpac and Hollywood reunited to form nWo Elite. It would be too confusing keeping track to induct multiple versions of the iconic group.

4 Should Be Inducted: The Hart Foundation

WWE has inducted Bret Hart twice into the Hall of Fame for his singles career and tag team run with Jim Neidhart. A third induction should happen for the greatness that was the Hart Foundation faction in the 90s. Bret became the top heel with a tremendous stable of family behind him.

Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, Neidhart and Brian Pillman joined Bret to become the top heels in the company. The Hart Foundation didn’t have a long run together, but their level of success at the highest extent should put them into the Hall of Fame one day.

3 Just Missed: The Heenan Family

The Heenan Family became one of the first major WWE factions. Bobby Heenan was among the best personalities in the entire industry. Fans hated him with his great promo skills and overall persona making him a cocky jerk.

The faction allowed him to get over many heels from the main event scene to the lower card. Heenan represented talents like Andre the Giant, Ric Flair and Rick Rude. Despite the star power involved, the wrestlers in the faction weren’t linked as closely together as most other legendary stables.

2 Should Be Inducted: Nation Of Domination

The Nation of Domination fits all the variables needed to be viewed as a legendary faction. Faarooq initially led the group with fascinating promos calling out racism in the WWE. The Rock joining the group took it to the next level with a huge rising star.

Other talents like D’Lo Brown, The Godfather and Mark Henry scored big success thanks to their run together. The Nation created new stars and had captivating storylines that used real-life elements. Wrestling fans from the Attitude Era would love to see the Nation get inducted together.

1 Just Missed: The Ministry Of Darkness

One of the more interesting character changes of the 90s saw The Undertaker embrace a more demonic side by forming the Ministry of Darkness faction. Mideon was abducted and returned as part of the group with Bradshaw and Faarooq doing Undertaker’s dirty work.

Other members like The Brood and Viscera joined. The Ministry of Darkness did have a great run together, but Undertaker was the only one to have a noteworthy run from it. WWE also ruined it too early by merging them with The Corporation to form the Corporate Ministry.
