According to a recent report, WWE isn't taking any extra chances with the WWE Superstars set to be part of the WrestleMania 36 tapings and has them on lockdown.

As WWE prepares to tape WrestleMania 36 on, what is speculated to be, Wednesday and Thursday of this week, they aren't taking unnecessary risks with the performers and has basically sequestered them in a hotel the company has pretty much taken over. It's just another measure WWE is taking this week to keep wrestlers safe, while at the same time, ensure WrestleMania gets taped without a hitch.

PWInsider is reporting that everyone who was brought in for this week’s tapings is booked into the same hotel and are essentially under house arrest. The idea is to prevent any people going out and/or coming into contact with someone who has COVID-19. As anyone can assume, WWE is extremely concerned with one of the performers contracting the coronavirus and spreading it to others. It could be disastrous to the card if things spread.

Further to the tapings going on this week, speculation is that only Florida-based producers are working the tapings. That includes Jamie Noble, Adam Pearce, Road Dogg, and Shawn Michaels. All other producers were not flown in.

There were also reports earlier today that production trucks were spotted at Full Sail University. Apparently, that isn't for WrestleMania, but to produce some of the content that will be part of NXT's upcoming episodes. WWE felt it was just more time effective to shoot the shows in separate places.

How Far Will WWE Go?

It makes sense WWE is doing what they're doing so as not to take any chances. One of the interesting questions will be, how far do they plan to take this? Are family with them? Did they bring in catering? Are there rules about them mingling in large groups inside the hotel?

Not to mention, it goes without saying the WWE Superstars probably hate it when spoilers get out, but is it that far a stretch to assume WWE is requiring performers to sign non-disclosure agreements? After all, there are about two weeks before WrestleMania is set to air and if anyone were to spill the beans, it could be a major problem.
