WWE Looking To Bring Kaitlyn Back

Dave Melzer reported in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the WWE has been talking about bringing back former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn, according to ewrestlingnews.com.

Kaitlyn took four years off as a wrestler before getting back in the ring at the Main Event Training Center in Florida. She posted a photo on Instagram.

Kaitlyn is only 30 years-old, so she's certainly not too old to come back to the WWE and make a big impact. She was signed to a developmental contract by the WWE back in 2010, where she joined season three of NXT in September. Then she was signed to SmackDown's main roster.

Kaitlyn won the WWE Divas Championship in 2013, and then only five months later decided to retire. She is best remembered for her match against AJ Lee at Payback in June or 2014.

At the time, Kaitlyn stated that she was walking away from the wrestling industry at the age of 26 to focus on her marriage with PJ Braun as well as her clothing line, Celestial Bodiez, which was launched right before she decided to retire. Kaitlyn also opened up a smoothie bar inside a Florida gym with her husband in 2015. The former champion is also a bodybuilder that has been featured on the cover of Iran Man magazine and sometimes does work for Hardbodynews.com.

If Kaitlyn does end up signing with the WWE, we wouldn't be surprised if she ends up with the Raw brand since they're looking to add more female wrestlers even with Asuka recently being added from NXT.

Our guess is that while Kaitlyn was happy with walking away a few years, she's gotten the itch to get back in the ring and continue to her career now that it looks like her marriage with Braun has ended.

With Kaitlyn obviously training hard and looking like she's still in great shape, a return to the WWE makes a lot of sense. Don't be surprised that if she comes back, she ends up winning a title within her first year.
