Now that Kurt Angle returned to action for WWE there's a list of opponents we could see him face, but who will he stand opposite at WrestleMania?
At TLC last month, Kurt Angle made his triumphant return to a WWE ring for the first time in eleven years. The Raw General Manager was called upon at the last moment to fill in for Roman Reigns after The Big Dog was sidelined through illness. Angle became an honorary member of The Shield for the evening and picked up the win for his team.

Although Angle hasn't wrestled again since then, his next match is already booked. The former World Champion will be leading Team Raw at Survivor Series for the ten-man elimination tag match. Stephanie McMahon ordered Angle to do so following her return a couple of weeks ago, citing that the GM wasn't doing his job well enough after Raw was invaded by SmackDown Live.
The dressing down that Angle received from Stephanie may be WWE planting seeds for something much bigger during the months to come. Angle returning to in-ring competition at such short notice revealed that WWE was, in fact, planning to bring him back at some point. Chances are the original plan was to have the Olympic gold medalist make his comeback at WrestleMania 34, and for his opponent to be Triple H.
The Game hasn't been seen on Raw since he was defeated by Seth Rollins at this year's WrestleMania. Clearly, his wife Stephanie McMahon isn't a fan of how Angle is running things on Raw. If Team Raw fails to succeed at Survivor Series then needless to say she is not going to be too happy. That will likely continue the already fragile relationship between Angle and McMahon, and naturally, Triple H will have to step in and fight on his wife's behalf, most likely at WrestleMania.
While away from WWE, Angle actually went out of his way to compliment Triple H and said that he was one of his favorite opponents. During his first run with the company, Angle had a match with The Game where he took a knock to the head and the 14 time World Champion took care of him and got him through the rest of the match. With that in mind, it's no wonder that the two will likely clash in the coming months, and also why Triple H is often the one chosen to take on these high profile matches, such as the one with Sting at WrestleMania 31.
