While the latest WWE 2K video game was met with a fairly negative response, for the most part, 2K's wrestling games have been a huge hit. Of course, the first thing that everyone wants to look for is the rating of the roster.

Everyone instantly looks for who is the highest-rated and debates about whether or not it's the right call. But what about those that 2K opts to rate incredibly low, picking who are the weakest members of the roster each year.

Within this list, we will take a look back at the history of 2K's WWE games and reveal the 10 lowest rated characters to have been part of the game.

10 Dana Brooke - 69 (2K20)

We kickstart the list with an entry from the latest installment, WWE 2K20 where Dana Brooke was one of the lowest-rated characters on the game. She scored a rating of 69, which does seem fairly low considering her in-ring ability.

Sure, she's not received a major push of note, but she certainly is very athletic and powerful within the ring. However, 2K takes into consideration what has happened the year between games, and Brooke hadn't achieved much in that period.

Of course, towards the end of 2019, Dana Brooke did start getting featured more on WWE television, and she is part of the SmackDown Women's Title match at WrestleMania. Expect her score to rise for the next game.

9 Ariya Daivari - 69 (2K19)

2K has slowly been adding different members of the 205 Live roster in the past few years due to demand from the audience. However, more often than not the members of the purple brand have been rated on the lower end of the scale.

A perfect example of this is just how low Ariya Daivari was rated in WWE 2K19, only gaining a 69 rating. Even though Daivari wasn't a major threat to the title at that point, he certainly deserved a rating higher than he was given.

8 Viktor - 68 (2K17)

2K quite often struggles to make firm decisions when it comes to ratings for tag team members, often splitting them up in terms of rating.  That was the case for The Ascension in 2K17.

For some reason, Viktor's Ascension tag team partner, Konnor did gain a higher rating than him in the video game, which is why he doesn't feature on this list. However, it wasn't too much better.

It is quite surprising though for even though Konnor was the brute force of the team, it was Viktor who was the more technical wrestler.

7 Curtis Axel - 68 (2K17)

Curtis Axel has seen his ratings slowly decrease since his first addition to the video game, it hit its lowest point at WWE 2K17. He is technically a very good wrestler, but because he rarely gets the chance to showcase it on television his rating can't rise.

When he was added to WWE 2K17, Curtis Axel was part of the #SocialOutcasts group and therefore it's no surprise that he was given such a low rating. The group rarely won any matches and most of the time they lost incredibly quickly, which made it impossible for them to get a higher rating.

6 Noam Dar - 68 (2K20)

When it comes to the newest version of 2K's WWE video games, it was the Scottish Supernova, Noam Dar who had the worst rating. This was perhaps a little harsh, as Dar had spent time prior to that on the injured list.

Dar is an excellent technical wrestler who has a brilliant blend of striking and submission abilities. He also just so happens to be a tremendous promo, as he is one of the best talkers to have come from the 205 Live roster.

Dar joining the NXT UK roster also could have seen him boost his rating, but for some reason, WWE didn't give him a push on the ratings.

5 Blake - 68 (2K17)

Blake (who is now known as Wesley Blake) was part of a tag team with (Buddy) Murphy during this period of his career, but the duo received low ratings. Murphy's was slightly higher than his tag team partners, and that's why Blake makes this list.

A low rating of 68 does seem fairly harsh for a team that held the NXT Tag Team Titles. They were incredibly impressive inside the ring and they worked a very fast-paced style with tremendous counter abilities, which makes this rating seem strangely low.

However, back when 2K17 was released, the NXT brand wasn't given as much respect as it is now, which could be a reason for the lower rating.

4 Eva Marie - 67 (2K17)

Eva Marie was never one of the most gifted in-ring performers in WWE history. She was mainly hired based on her physical appearance and to bring a different aspect to Total Divas, which is why it's no surprise she gained such a low rating.

However, when she first joined the video game in the previous year, she was actually rated a whole 10 points higher at 77. It seems that the initial rush to get her in the game was not thought through, but in 2K17, her rating was more realistic.

Granted, she did make improvements in the ring, Eva never truly got to a top standard for WWE.

3 Bo Dallas - 67 (2K17)

Earlier on we mentioned Curtis Axel during his time in #SocialOutcasts, and one of his fellow faction members, Bo Dallas also suffered a poor rating because of it. Only, Bo actually had an even lower rating than Axel.

It's not really clear why the former NXT Champion had a lower score, but perhaps the fact he was deemed as the leader of the group had something to do with it. Either way, it's one of the lowest scores in the history of 2K wrestling video games.

2 Maryse - 66 (2K12)

Maryse has always been a talented wrestler, but for some reason when 2K first took charge of creating WWE video games she was given an insanely low score. Being ranked 66 was way lower than any other character in the game that year.

While the women of WWE never got high scores during that period of time, simply because they weren't featured enough, this one does seem oddly low. It's something that didn't really make much sense considering she was always someone who was featured on television.

1 Curt Hawkins - 64 (2K19)

When it comes to the lowest rated character in 2K's history it is Curt Hawkins who gets the wooden spoon medal. He received the incredibly low rating of 64 in WWE 2K19, and to be fair, 2K can hardly be blamed for that.

Hawkins was in the midst of WWE's longest-ever losing streak when this game was put together, and it's hard to give someone with such a terrible win/loss record a high rating.

It might seem a little harsh considering the fact that Curt Hawkins is a talented wrestler, but when you lose that many matches it is simply inevitable. His rating did rise in the latest game to reflect the change in his in-ring results.
