WWE Mentions Chris Benoit In A Recent Encyclopedia

After Chris Benoit's double murder suicide in 2007, WWE virtually erased him from their history books, never mentioning his name again.

For example, he has no profile on while a lot of episodes from the WWE Network are missing because Benoit was a regular at the time. In WWE 2K15, they don't even acknowledge Benoit when discussing the triple threat match he fought against Shawn Michaels and Triple H during Wrestlemania 20.

Many people think that despite his actions, it was extremely harsh for WWE to erase Benoit like that and it looks like Hulk Hogan could be following that same direction after his racism issue.

However, a Reddit user posted a snippet from a recent WWE encyclopedia where Benoit is actually mentioned by the WWE. In what is a much better way of handling the whole Benoit issue while acknowledging that he did exist, WWE would be better off doing the same with Hogan, who is arguably the biggest star they've produced in the last 30 years.
