WWE has had several incredible heels over the years, creating nuclear heat to establish their names. A storyline becomes more captivating with the help of a heel because they generally take dirty ways to win. They could take advantage of anyone to get a job done, forcing fans to despise them. Let's take a look at 10 such evil heels in the history of WWE.

10 Randy Orton

Randy Orton, known as The Viper, has been part of the company for nearly two decades, creating a huge legacy as a top heel. Even in the current roster, Orton stands out from the rest as a bad guy. The 13-time WWE World Champion is not only one of the greatest heels of the current era but also in the history of WWE.

From a legend killer to becoming a legend himself, Orton might have changed his persona over the years, but he remains at his best whenever he gets the opportunity to be an evil heel. Today, Orton is certainly the most hated guy on RAW, considering how he has assaulted beloved legends Edge and Beth Phoenix.

9 Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has been a heel ever since making his debut eight years ago. Whether leading The Wyatt Family or depicting his new alter-ego, The Fiend, Bray Wyatt has always been impressive. Given his dark and mysterious persona, he is certainly one of the best evil bad guys to ever grace the ring.

Mind games can place a heel above the rest, and Bray Wyatt is great at playing mind-games with his opponents, which makes him an intriguing character, especially after the arrival of The Fiend. Being the most terrifying man in the current roster, The Fiend has already created a major impact, and he is expected to prevail more as a heel in the future.

8 Randy Savage

Regarded as one of the biggest names of his era, Randy Savage was a colossal draw and was an awe-inspiring heel, as well. Whether using dirty tricks to win matches or shutting up the crowd with his words, Savage was a perfect definition of a heel in his heyday.

While Hulk Hogan was the biggest babyface of that era, Randy Savage was the arch-rival for Hogan, making their feud iconic and one of the best rivalries in WWE history. Although Savage also had run as a babyface, his heel runs certainly overshadowed it.

7 Kurt Angle

Making his WWE debut in 1999, Kurt Angle, the Olympic gold medalist, was a highly-rated Superstar. Angle was one of those few names, who could get over as a babyface and could equally get jeered by the fans as a heel.

Given his track record as an Olympic Gold medalist, he would often brag about it, yet the fans refused to accept him as an 'American Hero'. His work as a villain was commendable, creating the popular 'You Suck' chant from the fans. While he was an interesting bad guy, his in-ring dexterity was equally remarkable, undoubtedly one of the best ring workers of his era. Angle also had the ability to play a despicable bad guy willing to shave the head of a tranquilized Big Show or stalking and sexually harassing Booker T's wife Sharmell.

6 Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon, the man to make WWE a global name, was also one of the greatest heels when he was a regular name on the TV. Mr. McMahon's on-screen villainous character helped to put over many babyfaces, notably Stone Cold Steve Austin. Without a shadow of a doubt, the feud between Steve Austin and Mr. McMahon defined the Attitude Era and helped the WWE brand reach its peak.

Rollins' initial singles run as a heel established him as a top guy of WWE, helping him to hold the WWE Championship for 221 days. The two-time Universal Champion is currently a heel, and he has been unstoppable leader known as the Monday Night Messiah. Whether getting in the head of his opponent or cheating with the help of others, Rollins certainly knows how to be hated by the fans.

4 "Rowdy" Roddy Piper

One of the most popular faces in the 1980s, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was an extremely significant villain in WWE during this era. Although Piper never won a world title in WWE, he still became a draw, owing to his charisma and mic skills to garner the attention of WWE Universe.

While Randy Savage was considered to be Hulk Hogan's most fierce rival, Roddy Piper wasn't very far away. Piper was inconsiderate and liked saying whatever he felt to create heat. Piper was certainly an underrated name in WWE, who helped the company to thrive in the 80s.

3 The Undertaker

While talking about most evil heels in WWE, The Undertaker's name can't be avoided, who is a self-proclaimed ' Lord of Darkness'. Undertaker, the character, is definitely one of the greatest creations in the history of WWE, and the dark touch to it has made it more special.

The Deadman has had several different gimmicks throughout his career, stretching over 30 years.

Whether as The Deadman or The American Badass, he has never failed to impress as a heel. He might be loved by a preponderance of fans, but his perennial darkness certainly makes him one of the evilest heels ever.

2 Triple H

Triple H has been part and parcel of WWE for the past 25 years and he has been a despicable villain for the majority of his career, making him one of the greatest heels ever. He was an exceptional heel in the initial part of his career with DX. The King of Kings continued to be an impressive villain after associating with the McMahon family.

Besides D-Generation X, Triple H was the leader of Evolution, one of the biggest heel stables in WWE. Playing dirty tricks and with his other heel peers, Triple H always found a way to stand tall, which made him a 14-time WWE World Champion.

1 Ric Flair

Known as the 'dirtiest player in the game', Ric Flair was definitely a spectacular heel and he was one of the most hated wrestlers of his time for his on-screen persona. The Nature Boy's unscrupulous ways of winning matches made him the dirtiest bad guy in the business and helped him win 16 (recognized) world titles.

Arriving in WWE in the early 90s, Ric Flair made a name for himself after his famous rivalry with Randy Savage. He was also essential to the success of Evolution during the Ruthless Aggression Era, helping Triple H and other Evolution members prevail using his dirty tricks.
