World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., also known as WWE, the world’s largest wrestling promoter, founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1952, showcases over 500 events a year, attracting 36 million viewers around the world.

The company, which features such current stars as Brock Lesnar, The Miz, Alexa Bliss, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Ember Moon, EC3, Ricochet and War Machine, is looking to expand its roster with two more heavyweights, Keith Lee and Big Van Walter. The pair are allegedly scheduled to make their debut at the WWE Performance Center this coming May.

Although Walter has said in the past that he was unwilling to join the conglomerate since he runs the wXw school in Europe and wasn’t interested in moving, he appears to have had a change of heart.

According to Dave Meltzer, author of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Walter and Lee — who he referred to “the two best big men on the independent scene right now” — were expected to accept the contract.

Meltzer listed Lee as “32 or 33” and described him as a “more agile but not quite as heavy version of Bam Bam Bigelow.” Lee, from Wichita Falls, Texas, is a former college football player and just began performing last year. He wrestles in Progress, Evolve and many smaller promotions and combines great strength and size with crazy athleticism which makes him such a unique wrestler. Lee stands at 6’3” and weighs 330 pounds and some of his best matches have been against Ricochet, Matt Riddle and Travis Banks.

Walter, who was born in Vienna, Austria, has been competing professionally since 2005. He towers at 6’4” and weighs 310, hence his nickname the Man Mountain. His match against Zack Sabre Jr. in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla received a five-star rating from Dave Meltzer.
