If you wanted to see how the drama unfolded as CM Punk made his return to the wrestling industry on WWE Backstage, Fox is providing inside access.

Punk shocked the wrestling world and nearly broke the Internet when he made a surprising return to the professional wrestling industry in what is believed to be an analyst role on WWE Backstage going forward. While he's not speculated to be on the show every week, he will be back next Tuesday and will likely clarify his role on the show and with Fox moving forward.

Until then, fans will have to be satisfied with little snippets of info, including a very cool video Fox released showing Punk's arrival to the studio.

Fox documented Punk's arrival from the airport to the board room and eventually onto the set as the show closed. They filmed him getting photos with everyone on the show and asked him about his feelings as time grew closer to his return. "I'd be lying if I said with a straight face I wasn't nervous," he said.

He called the nerves good and that if you don't have butterflies, you don't care enough to make it entertaining and it was his plan to entertain. When asked how he felt about breaking the Internet, he said, "I'm not just going to break the Internet, I'll break the world."

Punk Seems Legitimately Excited

As the video rolls along, you get the sense watching it that Punk is actually excited to be back. This is man who just one year ago said he couldn't watch eight seconds of a wrestling show because he just wasn't into it. Now, he seems excited, eager and ready to get back into the business that made him a star.

He said when he was approached by Fox about an analyst position, he was excited. So, it sounds like what Troy Aikman is to the NFL, Fox plans to make Punk to WWE.
