There may be conflicting reactions to WWE transforming professional wrestling into sports entertainment, but they have proved on countless occasions that the industry is not just for the tall and muscular wrestlers.

The promotion implemented an emotional aspect to the sport, and it has helped in the success of multiple unconventional performers. Comedy has always been a regular aspect in the WWE programming for many years, and many superstars gained fans for themselves by mastering the genre.

R-Truth is one of the few superstars to make a career out of being a comedy act in WWE. He has given fans countless hilarious moments, and he's been doing overtime since WWE introduced the 24/7 Championship.

With that said, let's take a look at ten of the funniest moments in R-Truth's career.

10 Winning The 24/7 Title Under The Ring

R-Truth is a record 34-time WWE 24/7 Champion and has won and lost the title under some bizarre circumstances, including under the ring on the June 4, 2019, episode of SmackDown.

Truth defended the title against Elias in a lumberjack match at the event, with the latter picking up the victory following a knee to the face. However, the lumberjacks tried to gang up on the new champion as the 24/7 rules got reinstated after the match.

Elias tried to hide under the ring, but R-Truth was already there and pinned him to regain the title.

9 Even The Beast Couldn't Hold It

The WWE Champion Brock Lesnar walked out with his advocate Paul Heyman on the January 13, 2020, episode of Raw to promote his appearance in the men’s Royal Rumble match.

R-Truth thought it would be a good time to announce his entry into the match and joined Lesnar and Heyman in the ring. He talked about how he’s the underdog against his much bigger opponent, however, R-Truth was not talking about Lesnar, as he thought Heyman was going to be in the match.

When the truth dawned on him, R-Truth didn’t want Lesnar to take him to Sioux Falls City and undeclared himself from the match. Even Lesnar couldn’t hold back from laughing, but the Beast’s gotta do what he’s gotta do and took down Truth to end the segment.

8 Not A Bad Hiding Place

Being the 24/7 Champion, a superstar has to have eyes on all directions as he will never know when the other superstars would try to take the title away from him.

R-Truth has been in that situation more than any other superstar who has held the belt. He had to do everything possible to stay away from the other superstars, and he thought he found the perfect hiding place on the June 3, 2019, episode of Raw.

After Cesaro lost his match to Ricochet, the former tried to take his frustrations out by inflicting a post-match beatdown on his opponent. He pulled a table from under the ring only to find R-Truth on top of it. The other superstars ran down to the ring, however, thanks to some help from Carmella, Truth escaped with the title.

7 Locked In A Crate

R-Truth's desperate attempts to hide from other superstars continued on the June 11, 2019, episode of SmackDown. Carmella tried to help R-Truth out by hiding him hide inside a production crate, but she had to leave to compete in a match.

Truth got locked inside the crate and screamed for help, only for Jinder Mahal to notice and proceed to try and take the 24/7 title. But the crew took the crate away with Truth inside before Mahal could come back with a crowbar.

R-Truth was still inside the crate as the backstage staff shipped it off to Los Angeles for the next week's episode of Raw.

6 Confederate Truth

R-Truth harassed a young fan and his dad on the May 30, 2011, episode of Raw by throwing a cup of soda at the dad's face. The show's anonymous general manager offered Truth a WWE Championship match against Cena if he apologized for his actions on next week's Raw.

R-Truth decided to give his apology in his unique style and walked out wearing a confederate soldier's uniform while interrupting Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He hilariously apologized to the soda and said he secedes from the WWE Universe.

5 I Got Okie Doked By Little Jimmy

After apologizing for his actions, R-Truth got his promised WWE Championship match against John Cena at the 2011 Capitol Punishment PPV. Truth's deeds came back to haunt him at the event as he got drenched in soda at the hands of a fan. Cena took advantage of the opportunity and retained the title.

R-Truth went on a tirade on the following episode of Raw and blamed the fan for his loss. He claimed that he got okie doked by Little Jimmy before Christian and The Miz joined him in the ring. The three argued until they made the fans burst in laughter.

4 Man, You're Crazy!

For most of 2011, R-Truth was under the impression there was a conspiracy against him in WWE. Triple H became the new COO at the time, and Truth walked out to address his grievance to him on the July 25, 2011, episode of Raw.

R-Truth went on his usual routine involving his imaginary Little Jimmys. Triple H gave it back to Truth by talking to imaginary friends of his own, which enraged Truth even further.

R-Truth even called Triple H crazy for talking to people that don't exist. The segment ended when the Game brought out John Morrison, who had some unfinished business with Truth.

3 This One's On Me, My Bad!

R-Truth started acting more like a confused person around the time the 2015 Money in the Bank PPV was set to happen. While the contestants of the match were addressing the WWE Universe on an episode of Raw, R-Truth came out and joined the mix.

R-Truth came out to the stage and started talking about what he would do in the MITB ladder match. The truth dawned on him after Kane told him that he's not even in the match. R-Truth gave a confused reaction before hilariously saying "My Bad" and walked away.

2 Crashing Maverick's Honeymoon

R-Truth's rivalry with Drake Maverick over the WWE 24/7 Championship has produced some hilarious moments that left the WWE Universe in stitches.

Maverick and Truth traded victories, with the latter going to any extent to get the title back. After crashing Maverick's wedding, R-Truth went one step further by barging in during Maverick's honeymoon.

Just before Maverick was about to consummate his wedding with his wife, R-Truth invaded their hotel room and pinned Maverick on the bed to win back the 24/7 Championship. The feud continued for a few more weeks until WWE decided to pull Maverick away from the title picture.

1 Royal Rumble Confusion

Roman Reigns defended the WWE Championship against 29 other superstars in the 2016 Royal Rumble match, and R-Truth was one of the challengers. He entered the contest as the 12th entrant but got a little confused as he made his way to the ring.

Truth pulled a ladder and brought it inside the ring and climbed it while the other superstars watched in confusion. Truth mistook the bout for a ladder match for the WWE Championship. When Truth realized his error, Kane threw him over the top rope and eliminated him from the contest.
