According to the Daily Wrestling News, the WWE is planning on 'raiding' Ring of Honor in early 2017, as many ROH talents' contracts are set to expire on December 31.

WWE is hoping their offer of a higher pay will attract some key talents over to the biggest wrestling company in the world. WWE knows that ROH will have to offer serious money to keep their wrestlers, as they've had to do the past few years.

The WWE also wants to tread carefully and not drive up the pay-scale for NXT too quickly.

The WWE's no.1 target as far as ROH talents go is the top tag team, The Young Bucks.

With WWE recently signing Steve Corino to work as a trainer at the Performance Center, there's hope he will help attract other ROH talents. Unsurprisingly, Triple H is spearheading this movement, as he is in charge of talent acquisitions. He feels WWE needs to keep replenishing the NXT roster especially for expansion in 2017.

If you thought NXT was great now, just imagine what it could look like in a few months.
