WWE is off to a promising start for 2018. Raw and SmackDown delivered. Fresh match-ups were had along with an abundance of drama, especially between the blue brand's General Manager and Commissioner. For better or worse, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan's differences will continue to take center stage for the time being.

Here are five things WWE got right this week and five things they got wrong.

5. WRONG - Breezango

WWE.com

Not sure why WWE spent months building up Fandango and Tyler Breeze with entertainingly hilarious Fashion Files segments only for the pair to become the resident jobbers for Rowen and Harper. Don't they deserve a little better?

5. RIGHT - Cruiserweights Mixing Up With The Heavyweights

WWE.com

For too long, the Cruiserweights were pigeonholed in purple ropes. But not so much anymore.A couple weeks ago, Hideo Itomi teamed with Fin Balor and this week, Goldust was featured in tag team action with Cedric Alexander, Ariya Daivari, and Drew Gulak. It's good stuff, and it's about time the Cruiserweights are being treated more equally with the rest of the roster.

4. WRONG - Mixed Match Challenge Premise

WWE.com

The guys and gals rarely get to interact with one another these days, so with Facebook debuting a Mixed Tag Team Tournament later this month, we're super excited about it. But the one negative, or at least the one questionable aspect of the entire thing is that the winning team will get $100,000 to give to a charity of their choosing. Amazing, right? But, we all know WWE is predetermined. So how does that really make sense? The bookers and the writing team gets to determine which charity gets the money?

4. RIGHT - Jason Jordan And Seth Rollins

WWE.com

Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins may be the unlikeliest of duos, but we're liking it. The possibilities of where these two could go are endless. Will they eventually hate each other even more than they do now? Will they become best buds? How long will they keep the Raw Tag Team Championships? Only time will tell.

3. WRONG - Woken Matt Hardy

This isn't entirely wrong, as the WWE Universe is continuing to react to Matt Hardy as if he's the second coming of Christ. We're just a little worried WWE is slowly but surely screwing this up. It's time for Creative to think outside the box and make Hardy do something more interesting than a silly laugh. Don't beat a dead horse, please. Change it up!

3. RIGHT - The Usos vs. Gable and Benjamin

WWE.com

The Usos can do no wrong. In 2017, they became the breakout tag team and in 2018, that may still remain. These two can't have a bad match it seems, and Gable and Benjamin are proving to be a great counterpart going forward on the way to WrestleMania.

2. WRONG - AJ Styles Looking Silly

WWE.com

Last year, AJ Styles was smashing Shane McMahon's skull through car windows. This year, he's stuck in the middle of a childish game of tug-of-war with McMahon and Daniel Bryan. If anything, Styles should be taking Owens and Zayn's side after all the tomfoolery these two have been putting him through. Styles is too good for McMahon drama.

2. RIGHT - Bliss vs. Asuka

WWE.com

It was a nice treat to see Asuka finally face someone worthy of her dominant streak. Why wouldn't she be getting a crack at Raw Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss? Now that she's finally defeated the Champ, could Asuka get a title shot before The Royal Rumble?

1. WRONG - Every Woman Declaring Herself Into The Rumble

WWE.com

With only 19 women on the active roster (not including the two Champions), it's pretty damn obvious all 19 will be participating in the first 30-Woman Royal Rumble later this month. Yet, every single gal is getting their own backstage segment, declaring themselves as official entrants into the Rumble.

Yeah. We know.

1. RIGHT - Reigns vs. Joe

WWE.com

Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe tore the roof off in Miami this week. With a stipulation set so if Reigns got himself disqualified, he'd lose the Intercontinental title, the drama was at an all-time high throughout the chaotic match. Even still, Reigns managed to retain his Championship, possibly putting an end to his feud with Samoa Joe.
