The Rock comes across as one of the most likeable men in all of Hollywood, with his charming personality winning over many people. It seems like it would be impossible for him to hate anybody. However, in the world of professional wrestling, egos are huge and backstage politics has a large factor in whether a wrestler is pushed or not, which is why it is common for some legitimate fall-outs to take place.

Even The Rock has had times when he's not gotten along with a wrestler. Within this article, we will take a look at five wrestlers The Rock has had a real issue with, along with others that he's been friendly with.

10 Had Beef With: Kevin Nash

It's fair to say that The Rock and members of The Kliq weren't exactly the closest of friends at any point in his career, with his dislike for Kevin Nash being a perfect example of that: they simply didn't get along.

It seemed that Nash didn't appreciate The Rock's success outside the wrestling ring. The two men took some very real shots at each other during promos that they had together, and it was clear there were some personal problems between the two men.

9 He Loves: Mark Henry

One person that The Rock was very close with during his WWE career was the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry. The two men hit it off during their time in The Nation of Domination and  remain close to this day.

The two men were so close that Henry went out of his way to ensure that The Rock watched his famous fake retirement segment with John Cena on Raw. The two men have a very tight relationship.

8 Had Beef With: John Cena

While they might have patched things up by the end of their first WrestleMania match, there is no denying the fact that John Cena and The Rock initially did not like each other at all. This is where the rivalry was born.

Cena had gone on record to complain about The Rock and his commitment to his acting  career, which set the wheels in motion for a fantastic year-long storyline. The two men traded verbal blows, being very real and open about their feelings, which helped make their rivalry so epic. Now, however, The Rock and Cena (now quite the movie star himself) respect each other fully.

7 He Loves: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar and The Rock might seem like a very strange friendship, with one being a very personable and chatty Hollywood star and the other being a very quiet MMA fighter who enjoys being very private. However, the two men certainly got along very well during their time together in WWE.

The Rock even headed backstage to see Brock during his UFC career. They clearly share a close bond as two men who love professional wrestling, even though they have a lot of differences.

6 Had Beef With: CM Punk

Another wrestler that The Rock didn't get along with on his last run with the company was CM Punk. The two men collided over Punk's belief that Rocky was the sole reason he didn't headline WrestleMania.

Punk's legendary WWE Championship run came to an end at the hands of The Rock, and he wasn't pleased about being looked over so that The Rock could face John Cena for the second year in a row. During his recent Starrcast appearance, Punk revealed that he has since buried the hatchet with The Rock, admitting he apologized to the WWE legend.

5 He Loves: Ken Shamrock

Ken Shamrock and The Rock spent tons of time wrestling against each other and with each other during the Attitude Era. When Shamrock's return to wrestling was announced earlier this year, The Rock wasted no time in taking to Twitter to praise the former MMA star, claiming he is an incredibly tough man and someone that he has huge respect for.

They might not be the closest of friends right now, but back in the day, the two men were very close and certainly helped each other out as major rivals in each other's careers.

4 Had Beef With: Ahmed Johnson

Ahmed Johnson was an interesting character in wrestling history. Receiving huge pushes due to his size and impressive look, he never truly managed to capitalize on any of it and failed to get to the level he should have done.

He and The Rock collided in the ring many times as Ahmed Johnson often feuded with the Nation of Domination. Ahmed did not like The Rock at all during that time, claiming he was getting too big for his britches. According to him, the two men actually came to blows backstage in a real-life fight which had to be pulled apart by Farooq and Kama, proving just how much they didn't like each other.

3 He Loves: Stone Cold Steve Austin

This was one that a lot of people were probably waiting for, and thankfully Stone Cold Steve Austin finds himself on this side of the list: the two WWE legends get along very well in real life.

The Rock and Stone Cold  had arguably the greatest rivalry in the history of wrestling, with the two men having three WrestleMania matches and working hard to grow the business. Ever since then the two men have stayed close with each other and can often be seen interacting over social media, praising each other for what they did during their careers.

2 Had Beef With: Shawn Michaels

There is a reason why there was never a big storyline between Shawn Michaels and The Rock: the two men did not get along at all behind the scenes, with neither wanting to face the other in the ring.

Their issues began before The Rock even broke into the business, with Michaels reportedly being rude to his grandma, which is why Rocky didn't respect the Heartbreak Kid. When they met, things didn't improve. Of course, this was during a time in Michaels' career when he was having a lot of problems, which likely didn't help matters.

1 He Loves: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho interrupted The Rock during his epic WWE debut, and it is clear that the two men managed to stay close ever since that point.

Their careers have taken them in different directions, sure, but the two stars always have a kind word for each other. When Double or Nothing sold out back in February this year, for instance.
