Brock Lesnar shocked the wrestling world when Paul Heyman revealed that he would be entering the Royal Rumble match this year. Despite him being the WWE Champion, Lesnar will be part of the annual match.

Not only will Lesnar be involved, but he will be entering right from the start in the #1 spot. While there is a chance Lesnar could go coast to coast and then challenge for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36, the odds are that he will be eliminated somewhere along the way.

This will likely be done to set up his own title match at WrestleMania, with the winner of the Rumble probably challenging for the other title. But who should be the person to get rid of the Beast?

10 Should: Matt Riddle

Since this is happening inside the Royal Rumble, there is a chance that someone not on Raw and SmackDown might get the chance to eliminate Brock Lesnar. That opens the door to the possibilities of NXT stars getting one over on the Beast.

One name that has constantly come up alongside that of Lesnar is Matt Riddle. The "King Of The Bros" has made it clear that he wants to face Lesnar at WrestleMania and wants to retire him.

There have been reports of NXT having more involvement in 'Mania this year. So seeing Riddle enter the Rumble to dump out the man he has been dreaming of facing would be a great idea.

9 Should Not: Kofi Kingston

In terms of storylines, it would certainly make sense for Kofi Kingston to finally get some revenge against the man who took the WWE Championship from him. That doesn't mean that it should happen though.

The fact is that Kingston has barely reacted to losing the title on WWE programming and hasn't seemed angry or upset about the situation at all. For him to suddenly care would seem a little random.

Kingston has moved on to tag team wrestling once again and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Keeping things that way makes perfect sense and while they could have an interaction together, having Kofi get rid of Lesnar isn't the most beneficial call.

8 Should: Keith Lee

Keith Lee was recently called up to the main roster

Another NXT name that would be a smart choice to eliminate Brock Lesnar would be Keith Lee. Fans are high on him right now following Survivor Series, and if WWE could capitalize on that during another major show it would keep his push strong.

If the company is truly behind him as a top tier athlete who can be a big star in WWE, then he should certainly be involved in the Rumble. He's someone who could dominate on Raw and SmackDown if given the shot, and hopefully, that will be the case.

Having him eliminate Brock Lesnar, even if it doesn't lead to a match at WrestleMania, would be a big moment for him.

7 Should Not: Tyson Fury

After Tyson Fury left WWE following his feud with Braun Strowman, he gave several interviews about possibly returning at some stage down the line. When he did those interviews, he made it clear that Brock Lesnar is someone he wants to fight.

Fury is a big name outside of WWE who can bring in audiences from outside of wrestling and using him at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania will help the company.

However, him facing Brock would be a huge waste of Lesnar's talent. Fury is limited in what he can do, as he proved previously, so there is no desire for him to return from a fan perspective.

6 Should: Roman Reigns

There is a chance that whoever eliminates Brock Lesnar won't be challenging for the title at WrestleMania, which is why Roman Reigns would be a sensible choice. The "Big Dog" and the "Beast" have a longstanding history, which is why he'd be a good option to remove Lesnar.

He is someone that fans have been pre-conditioned to know can defeat Lesnar and has his number. Therefore having Reigns eliminate Lesnar would make sense.

This would just be yet another brilliant touch that would add a layer to their history. Reigns and Lesnar battling it out one more time would be a great moment inside the Rumble itself.

5 Should Not: Big Show

While nobody expected to see Brock Lesnar in the Royal Rumble this year, Big Show was another name that nobody expected to see. However, he made his way back to Raw recently to a great ovation.

The chances are that he will be part of the upcoming Royal Rumble match, and he has the size and strength to get rid of Brock Lesnar. With a new Netflix series coming in the future, WWE is likely going to push him during WrestleMania season.

However, he is an experienced veteran who won't be moving to the main event World Title picture ever again. Big Show might get rid of someone from the match, but it shouldn't be the "Beast."

4 Should: Aleister Black

Aleister Black has been enjoying a fantastic run recently, with his feud against Buddy Murphy bringing the best out of him. WWE has gotten fans interested in him, and now is the time to keep them that way.

Everyone wants to see new people in the main event scene and they want to see new people face Brock Lesnar. There's where Black steps in and is why he's ideal to eliminate Lesnar at the Rumble.

Having Black eliminate Lesnar to potentially face him at WrestleMania sets up a huge potential match. His striking ability going up against Lesnar's power would create a special match, and that's why this would be a wise decision.

3 Should Not: Seth Rollins

While Seth Rollins also has a longstanding history with Brock Lesnar, much like Roman Reigns, it would make less sense for him to be the man who does the deed.

Rollins has just returned to being a heel and is back to his sneaky behavior, relying on others to do his bidding. Therefore if he is the person who topples Lesnar it would just make no sense at all.

While he could have AOP remove the Beast from the match, it still isn't something that's needed. Everyone has had their fill of this rivalry, so it's time to leave it in the past.

2 Should: Drew McIntyre

When it comes to ideal options for eliminating Brock Lesnar inside the Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre would be the perfect candidate. He has been getting a solid push on Raw lately as he dominates everyone in his path, which is quintessential for someone who might face Brock Lesnar.

WWE is seemingly teasing a babyface turn for Drew lately, which is another reason why he would be superb to destroy Lesnar. Coming in and getting rid of the big bad "Beast" would endear him to the fans.

Not only could this possibly set up a fresh match for WrestleMania, which would allow McIntyre to potentially become a champion, but it would also give Drew a major moment to establish his official babyface turn.

1 Should Not: Cain Velasquez

via skystatement.com

Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar have a lengthy history together, which is something WWE touched on at Crown Jewel last year. Velasquez returned to WWE and immediately fought Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

However, their match ended quickly, mainly because Cain had a legitimate knee injury and we haven't seen him since. However, Velasquez is under contract with the company and you would think WWE would want to use his star power at this time of the year.

Seeing him return to eliminate Lesnar makes sense to set up a third and final WrestleMania encounter. However, the interest amongst the WWE Universe for this simply isn't that high, and it would be best served on a different show, allowing Lesnar to do more at 'Mania.
