WWE Sets A Date For The Draft!

The WWE has finally set a date for the draft that will decide which show each of their stars will reside on. It will take place during the first live SmackDown event on Tuesday, July 19th on the USA Network.

Now, there were some interesting little tidbits from the WWE in their press release.

Firstly, they've confirmed that there will be two GMs who will make each pick, but that already seemed pretty set in stone. More interestingly, they said this:

"For the first time in history on back-to-back nights, these two distinctive brands (Monday Night Raw and Tuesday’s SmackDown) will compete with each other for television ratings, live events and pay-per-views."

Well, it certainly sounds like they want to make each show equal. Let's hope they stick to it.
