The history of siblings in WWE featured a mixed bag of history with both successful and disappointing runs. WWE started hiring more relatives in the 2000s whether it was second generation stars of established names or siblings that had great potential together. Not all teamed together, but that was often the path given to them from management looking to get the best out of their careers.

We will look at both the successful and disappointing sets of siblings to work for WWE. The positive ones made history and created legacies that are still beloved today. Meanwhile, there are the negative instances of siblings that just didn’t have the tools needed to succeed in the bigger promotion. Find out just what went down when family love came to the squared circle. These are the five best and five worst pairs of siblings in WWE history.

10 Best: The Steiner Brothers

The Steiner Brothers would be higher on the list if they stayed in WWE longer, but they only had a short run in the early '90s. Rick and Scott Steiner dominated in their time there with two WWE Tag Team Championship reigns.

They had a stronger run in WCW that would rank them higher in general, but they still deserve a spot on the WWE side of things. Rick and Scott were the ideal tag team brothers that found great success making up for each other’s weaknesses by highlighting their strengths.

9 Worst: Carlito and Primo

The Colons

Carlito and Primo represented the Colon family when joining WWE. The singles run of Carlito found the most success of either of the two. Primo signing with WWE would see the two brothers enter a tag team together for the last chapter of Carlito’s WWE run.

They worked well together, but fans just didn’t care about the duo together. WWE eventually released Carlito and hired their cousin Epico to become Primo’s new tag team partner. The Colon family have struggled to break out in WWE after the Carlito and Primo team ended in disappointment.

8 Best: The Bella Twins

WWE signing Brie and Nikki Bella to the roster featured them wanting to have the fun act of twin siblings using their identical looks to pull the twin magic switch. Both Bella Twins found great success together throughout their careers in WWE.

The project of Total Divas would allow Nikki and Brie to showcase more of their personalities instead of always being linked together. WWE used them stronger following the reality show success and growing fanbases. The Bella Twins have both retired but still have relevance in the WWE world to make the occasional returns.

7 Worst: Brett and Ted DiBiase Jr.

WWE added two children of Ted DiBiase to developmental with the hope they could both become top stars. Ted DiBiase Jr. found success in a short run with Legacy teaming alongside Cody Rhodes under the leadership of Randy Orton, but he struggled once the team ended.

Brett had less success as he only appeared on the main roster once interfering in a match to help Orton and Legacy. Both brothers had disappointing overall careers failing to hit the expectations they each had when initially signing with WWE to start their careers. Neither man is still wrestling today.

6 Best: The Usos

The Usos cutting a promo

The tag team brothers of Jimmy and Jey Uso have become a top tier duo for WWE over the past decade. Unlike most tag teams that ended after some point with the singles push coming for one or both, the Usos have remained a real team.

WWE loves the act of them together as twin brothers always working for the common goal. Even when one of the brothers have been injured in the past, the other stays off television until they can return together. The Usos will continue to have a great run in WWE as a top tier brother tag team.

5 Worst: Sunil and Samir Singh

Sunil and Samir Singh have been trying to break out on the WWE roster for a few years now. Their best run came as the sidekicks of Jinder Mahal often taking attacks for him. The Singh Brothers taking incredible bumps from Randy Orton have been the peak of their WWE careers.

A short run as a duo on the 205 Live show failed to see them make an impact or stand out. WWE is trying to figure out the best way to use Sunil and Samir moving forward. There is a chance they find success together, but it is highly unlikely to save the sinking ship.

4 Best: The Hardy Boyz

Matt and Jeff Hardy started wrestling as teenagers in their backyard with the dreams of joining WWE. It became a reality when the Hardy Boyz signed with WWE as young adults and found success within a few years. The ladder match became the beloved weapon of the Hardy brothers to earn them more love from fans.

Both Jeff and Matt found success in singles action whenever they were on their own. The reunion of the team would happen many times as they could easily reunite to make magic together. WWE fans will see the Hardy Boyz rank extremely high among the greatest sibling pairs.

3 Worst: Gymini

WWE signed twin brothers Mike and Todd Shane as a top tag team prospect to have in developmental. The call-up eventually saw them having a run as the Gymini tag team. This gimmick featured them playing the proteges of Simon Dean trying to rip off the audience with fake weight loss ideas.

Gymini, unfortunately, could not get over due to the weak gimmick and worse matches. Neither member of the Shane twins had much talent in the ring. WWE gave up on them quickly and they could not find much success elsewhere moving forward.

2 Best: Bret and Owen Hart

The Hart family created many wrestlers as all the sons of Stu Hart grew up training and learning the business. Bret and Owen each had outstanding singles careers that made them all-time legends in WWE. None of the other Hart brothers landed full-time contracts as they would have likely ruined the magic.

Bret climbed to the top of WWE with a reputation of being one of the all-time great WWE Champions in company history. Even though Owen never won the top title, he contributed in ways that made him a top-level performer as well. These two Hart brothers found incredible success collectively and individually in WWE.

1 Worst: Ron and Don Harris

The twin brothers Ron and Don Harris failed to accomplish much in every role given to them in wrestling. WWE originally used them as the Blu Brothers and they never got far. A change to their appearances would see them rock the bald look as members of the D.O.A faction.

Nothing the Harris brothers did worked, and they continued falling lower down in the pecking order. Vince Russo hired them to WCW for the biggest pushes of their careers that led to horrible television. WWE lucked out releasing them earlier as the Ron and Don could not find the magic often coming from siblings in wrestling.
