Every single superstar has a different gimmick on the screen, contradicting to their real life personas. What fans see on TV is just a character. As a result, many superstars who fight each other for months or even years are actually great friends behind the curtains. Here are ten pairs of WWE legends who are great friends in real life.

8 Goldberg & Brock Lesnar

Goldberg was one of the few Superstars, who prevailed over The Beast Incarnate on various occasions. The two monsters locked horns in Lesnar's first stint as well as the second stint. They headlined two WrestleMania events and a Survivor Series.

Goldberg is a fan of MMA, and Lesnar's immense success in that sport has made the former a fan of the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. The WCW legend has mentioned in several interviews that Lesnar is a close pal of his, whom he admires for being such an incredible athlete.

7 Randy Orton & John Cena

Sharing a total of twenty-nine WWE titles between them, John Cena and Randy Orton were the two biggest names of the past decade. Needless to say, they also had a colossal rivalry, as they locked horns multiple times on different occasions. If Cena was the ultimate face of the company, Orton was the most hated bad guy and/or anti-hero.

In contrast to their in-ring rivalry, Cena and Orton are best friends in real life, which is one of the reasons for their strong chemistry in the squared circle. As proof of their friendship, The Viper often trolls Cena to entertain fans on Instagram.

6 Trish Stratus & Lita

Trish Stratus and Lita were arguably the two greatest female stars of the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era. Women's wrestling wasn't taken seriously back then, but these two legends kickstarted the women's revolution by delivering some astounding bouts that are still remembered today.

Even after hanging up their boots, Trish and Lita are inseparable. A preview of their friendship can be seen on Instagram, where they frequently post pictures with each other and celebrate their life-long friendship.

5 Batista & Triple H

Batista and Triple H had a history when they were full-time performers in WWE. They were two essential members of the legendary faction Evolution, and they also crossed paths several times, including at the Showcase of Immortals twice.

Batista was always close to Triple H, since the debut of the former on the main roster. Their camaraderie was one of the primary reasons why they always produced wonderful matches while facing each other.

4 Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns

Although both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are two full-time superstars who are still working today, they can be already called legends, considering they have been dominating WWE for the past few years. Both men are Grand Slam Champions and have headlined WrestleMania.

The two Shield members developed their brotherhood early in their careers, and their friendship certainly grew stronger with each passing year. Creating nuclear heat as a heel, Rollins locked horns with Reigns numerous times, but they always remained great friends behind the scenes.

3 Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keibler

Similar to Trish Stratus and Lita, Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler called it a day long ago, as they were also from the same generation. Both Stacy and Torrie were popular for producing steamy segments on a regular basis, not dexterity in the ring.

While they have shared many exciting segments with each other, it has also transcended to a friendship. Torrie tied the knot last year, and Stacy is also happily married with three kids.

2 The Undertaker & Brock Lesnar

Even though Brock Lesnar is not known to be much of a people person, he still forged some strong bonds with some of the biggest names of the industry, including The Undertaker, who is one of the biggest rivals of the Beast Incarnate. Other than the unforgettable match at WrestleMania 30, they have locked horns in several other pay-per-views.

Since The Deadman is a colossal name with a perennial legacy, Lesnar has nothing but high regard for the latter. As a matter of fact, Lesnar was reluctant to break Undertaker's unbeaten streak at WrestleMania 30.

1 The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin

It might be a surprise that The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, two big cornerstones of Attitude Era's success, are good pals in real life, are actually long-time friends who are still in great terms after leaving the business for almost two decades ago.

Today, The Rock is an elite Hollywood star, whilst Stone Cold Steve Austin is enjoying the retired life. Despite being one of the most popular names Hollywood, The Rock cherishes his wrestling background and regrets nothing. The two legends (plus Hulk Hogan and beer, no less) shared the ring for the last time at WrestleMania 30.
