When looking at various Hall of Fames, there are often puzzling omissions. Whether it is a professional sports Hall of Fames or the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, there are plenty of people that fans want in that have still not made the cut. For the WWE Hall of Fame, the arguments take an even more heated debate.

This is because, unlike other Hall of Fames, where voters induct the best options, the WWE Hall of Famer is all about what Vince McMahon wants to see. It all comes down to marketing, paying individuals to attend, and avoiding controversy at all costs. That means a lot of people are overdue for a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

10 Christian

Christian recently made a short return to WWE, where he questioned Randy Orton about the attack that took Edge out of action. He ended up as one of the legends that Orton took out with his punt kick. It was a one-time return, but Christian has Hall of Fame accolades.

He is a four-time world champion if you include the ECW belt, won nine tag team titles, and seven mid-card WWE titles. He is not only a Triple Crown winner but is one of 21 Grand Slam Champions in WWE history.

9 Vader

In one of the saddest moments, the man known as Vader was never inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame before his death. What makes this more tragic is that he wanted to get into the Hall of Fame, something that he could share with his fans based on a fantastic career.

While he never held a title in WWE, Vader is a former three-time WCW World Champion and was one of the top Americans to ever compete in Japan.

8 The Rock

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might wrestle another match in the future, but for all intents and purposes, he is retired from professional wrestling. There is no reason he isn't in the WWE Hall of Fame outside of scheduling issues.

The Rock is a 10-time world champion, five-time tag team champion, and two-time IC Champion. He would also be the highest-profile inductee in any year, as the most successful WWE superstar to conquer Hollywood.

7 Ivan Koloff

Ivan Koloff

When looking back at the history of WWE world champions, there are only a select few who are not in the WWE Hall of Fame. Buddy Rogers (1994), Bruno Sammartino (2013), Pedro Morales (1995), Stan Stasiak (2018), Superstar Billy Graham (2004), Bob Backlund (2013), and The Iron Sheik (2005) are all in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Only eight men held the WWE world title before Hulk Hogan, and the seven named are in the Hall. The only former champion of that era not inducted is Ivan Koloff. The Russian Bear beating Bruno Sammartino was one of the most significant moments of the '70s, and the fact that Koloff died in 2017 at the age of 74, still not in the Hall, is a shame.

6 Owen Hart

Owen Hart

Owen Hart will never end up in the WWE Hall of Fame, and that is just a sad fact of life. His widow owns the rights to his name and likeness, and she will never allow his induction because Owen died inside a WWE ring, doing an unnecessary stunt.

Owen won seven titles in WWE and also won the King of the Ring in 1994. The good news is that Hart is in other Hall of Fames, just not the WWE version.

5 The Undertaker

The Undertaker stated that he is officially retired from WWE. As long as WWE can pull off its already announced 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class sometime before the year ends, 2021 would be the perfect time to induct Taker into the Hall.

The one thing holding him back was his yearly WrestleMania matches and not breaking character. With his retirement and opening up in his WWE Network documentary, it is time the seven-time world champion entered the Hall of Fame.

4 Sable

Sable

In the Attitude Era, there was only one woman who ruled WWE, and that was Sable. It seems almost hard to believe that she only had her job because WWE hired her husband at the time, Johnny B. Badd, and Mr. McMahon took one look at her and hired her on the spot as well.

What resulted was the sex appeal of the Attitude Era and someone who brought in almost as many eyes to the product as Stone Cold Steve Austin. She only won one title in her career, but she meant more to WWE than any number of championships.

3 Victoria

Curiously, Victoria is not in the WWE Hall of Fame. There is some thought that it was due to her jump to TNA, but Mickie James also moved to TNA, and she is in line for an induction.

For Victoria, she had an impressive career, starting as one of Godfather's ho's before moving into a championship career as a female wrestler. Victoria was a two-time women's champion in WWE and won five more women's titles in TNA.

2 John Cena

John Cena is not in the WWE Hall of Fame because he, like The Rock, has not officially retired from wrestling. However, he does almost nothing in WWE anymore, despite saying it is still his home.

Cena has moved on to Hollywood and has started building a solid acting career in some pretty big movies. However, his 16 WWE world titles make him a shoo-in for the WWE Hall of Fame whenever he is ready.

1 Vince McMahon

There is one person who deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame more than anyone else in the history of the company. That is Vince McMahon. He bought WWE from his dad, created WrestleMania, and turned it into a global empire. McMahon is why WWE is as big as it is today and why so many other wrestling companies fell in its rise.

However, rumor has it that McMahon refuses to accept an induction because he feels it is all about the wrestlers. Hopefully, McMahon can take his induction and make his Hall of Fame speech rather than wait until after his death.
