Wrestling is a hard business for many stars when it comes to juggling their family as well as life on the road. This means that there are many stars who started the business with a wife or girlfriend but were unable to maintain this relationship when their hectic touring schedule took its toll.

Despite this being hard for some superstars, there are still a number of current and former wrestlers who have been loyal to their partner throughout their time with the company. There is obviously a difference between many stars who are happy with their personal life being separate to their professional life, while others don't mind both of these blending together. There are new WWE couples being revealed every day, but there aren't many stars left celebrating lengthy anniversaries since switching partners has become much more common than keeping the same one throughout their entire career.

The following list looks at just 10 superstars who were able to remain with the same partner throughout their WWE career, as well as 10 who couldn't settle down. Wrestling isn't a business that has become known for many settled couples, but there are a select few superstars from the past few decades who have defied the odds.

20 Loyal: Kevin Owens

via thechairshot.com

Kevin Owens has been one of the most outspoken superstars in the company ever since he made his way over to WWE following a successful stint on the Independent Circuit. Even though Owens is another superstar who has been on the road for more than 300 days a year and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful women in the world, he is completely besotted with his wife Karina Steen, something that he regularly shares on his Social Media pages.

Owens and his wife met when he was still struggling on the Independent Circuit and has even commented that his wife loved him when he had nothing and that is why the duo has such a strong bond now. The couple has two children together, a son called Owen who is named after Owen Hart and has been mentioned in a number of Kevin's promos since he was promoted to WWE's main roster. He also has a daughter called Elodie who he has updated a number of images of online. Karina and Kevin have been married now for more than a decade and even have matching tattoos together which say "Beauty" and "Beast" Owens' is visible during promos on his left hand.

19 Couldn't Settle: John Cena

via sportskeeda.com

John Cena's wrestling career is all but over now that he has made a career for himself outside of the company, the former 16-time World Champion has been able to become one of the best-known wrestlers in the world in recent years, but it appears that his personal life hasn't been as together as his professional one. Cena was linked to a number of women in his earlier career including Mickie James and Victoria before he married Elizabeth Huberdeau back in 2009. Their marriage only lasted for three years before Cena filed for divorce back in 2012, something that was somewhat expensive for the former World Champion.

Cena then moved on to a relationship with Nikki Bella a few months later.

While the couple was able to remain together for six years, they recently announced their split. Cena has recently been linked to a new relationship with current SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella, given the way Cena was with his relationships in his early career before he was tied down by both Elizabeth and Nikki, it's easy to believe that he could have already moved on from his relationship with Nikki, since it only took him a few months to move on from his previous marriage.

18 Loyal: Jeff Hardy

via bleacherreport.com

Jeff Hardy has been lighting up the wrestling world ever since the 1990s when he was just a teenager. It was after the Hardyz Tag Team Championship win back in 1999 that Hardy met his future wife Beth Britt. The couple met while he was out celebrating the win and it appears that Hardy has been besotted ever since.

Even though the couple has been together for almost two decades, they didn't decide to tie the knot until 2011, which could be because of Hardy's busy lifestyle or the fact that the former World Champion has had his own fair share of personal issues in recent years. The couple welcomed their first daughter Ruby back in 2010, before announcing their second called Nera the following year. Jeff's wife and daughters have got him through a number of problems throughout his career, so he knows that he can always count on their support. The former TNA star returned to WWE last year and has once again taken up that hectic travel schedule alongside his brother Matt which means that he is spending a lot more time away from his wife and children, but he is the current United States Champion, which has definitely boosted his position on the roster.

17 Couldn't Settle: CM Punk

via usatodayhss.com

CM Punk was part of WWE for less than a decade after making his debut on the newly rebranded ECW roster. Punk rose through the ranks in the company throughout his time there to become the longest reigning World Champion of the modern era, before he decided to walk away from the business back in 2014. Punk's wrestling career is one that is steeped in controversy, but it appears that his personal life has also become noteworthy.

Punk is now married to former Divas Champion and current New York Times Best Selling Author AJ Lee and the couple have been married now for almost four years, but before he met AJ, Punk had quite the reputation. Punk was linked to a number of women in WWE including Maria Kanellis, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, Lita and even Beth Phoenix while he was performing for WWE, but it wasn't until he started a relationship with AJ Lee back in 2013 that he decided it was time to settle down. Punk walked away from WWE back in 2014 and was fired from the company later that year. He has since moved on to a career in UFC, something that his wife has supported him with throughout.

16 Loyal: Roman Reigns

via pwpix.net

Roman Reigns has been the subject of a lot of negativity throughout his career, but the former World Champion has never been part of any kind of scandal in his private life, unlike many other former WWE stars. Reigns met his wife Galina Becker when he was in college and it appears that the couple hit it off and welcomed a daughter called Joelle not long afterward.

Reigns came to WWE as a father and a man with family values and he has managed to uphold them throughout his career.

This is truly amazing since he and his wife didn't marry until Reigns was on the main roster back in 2014. There are scandals in WWE all the time and one o these hit Roman's former teammate Seth Rollins back in 2015 but Reigns himself has been able to stay away from anything that could hinder his career or hurt the people he cares about the most. Since then the couple has welcomed twins and are seemingly a happy unit, family means everything in the Samoan community and it's obvious that Reigns values his family highly and has done everything in his career over the past few years to ensure that they are kept out of the negativity that he has been receiving.

15 Couldn't Settle: Shawn Michaels

via youtube.com

Shawn Michaels is a name that is discussed when it comes to some of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the company, but it's a different story when it comes to his life outside of the ring. Michaels struggled with addition throughout the 1990s, which lead to the marriage to his first wife Theresa Wood coming to an end back in 1994.

It's well documented that Michaels and Sunny were then linked together before Michaels was able to find God and kick-start his career in the early 2000s. Michaels wasn't seen as a very nice person backstage throughout his early career, but when he returned to WWE back in 2002 it appears that he had a change of attitude. Michaels married former Nitro Girl Rebecca Curci back in 1999 and the couple has now been together for almost two decades. Michaels was unable to settle in his early career because of the problems he was having with addiction but Rebecca was someone who helped Michaels to turn his life around and he has since been able to remain loyal to his second wife. Michaels has also supported his two children throughout his career and his was missing out on their lives that led him to the decision to retire back in 2010.

14 Loyal: Natalya

via pinterest.com

Natalya's story is definitely one of the cutest, she and her husband Tyson Kidd met when they were just teenagers and Nattie has never been in a relationship with anyone else. It appears that the couple has grown up together, trained together and even worked together in WWE for a time. Natalya and TJ were both trained in the Hart Family Dungeon, where she is the only female graduate.

The couple met each other back in 2001 when Natalya was just 12 years old.

They started dating when she was 19, and finally married in 2013 after more than 12 years together. Natalya and Tyson have been featured on Total Divas over the past seven seasons, but after Kidd suffered a career-ending injury a few years ago, he was taken off the show and has since been given a backstage role in WWE. Natalya has continued to appear as part of the show on her own, but TJ is often featured when the couple is together. Natalya has been raised with an old school mentality and it appears that unlike the other women in the company, there is only one man who turns her head, which is why she makes such a good role model for the next generation of female wrestlers.

13 Couldn't Settle: The Undertaker

via mandatory.com

The Undertaker is a superstar whose career will never be considered over. He has been part of the wrestling world now for almost three decades, but while he has always put his career first, it appears that this isn't the case for his personal relationships. It has become well-known that The Deadman has been married three times in his lengthy career, walking down the aisle for the first time back in 1989 when he married Jodie Lynn.

Undertaker's first marriage came to an end a decade later and he moved on to marry Sara Frank in 2000, who was later featured on WWE TV numerous times as part of a stalker storyline alongside her husband. This marriage also ended in divorce just seven years later before Undertaker then married fellow WWE superstar Michelle McCool back in 2010. The couple had obviously met while working together and hit it off despite the obvious age gap between them, McCool was married until 2006, but also filed for divorce before she moved on to a relationship with the WWE legend. Undertaker has four children from his various relationships, but only one of these is with his current wife McCool, a daughter called Faith.

12 Loyal: Kofi Kingston

via pinterest.com

Kofi Kingston is currently one-third of The New Day alongside Big E and Xavier Woods and is seen as one of the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in the history of the company after the group broke the record back in December 2016. Even though Kingston has been in the spotlight now for more than a decade and on the road for lengthy amounts of time, he has always remained loyal to his wife Kori Campfield.

The couple married back in 2010 and have two sons, the oldest is called Khi and he was born back in 2013 and his youngest is called Orion Kingsley Sarkodie-Mensah who was born back in 2016.  Kofi is a very hands-on father and has shared a number of cute images of him with his children online over the past few years. Kingston has even made jokes about being a father in recent years, whilst he's having fun as part of The New Day, but it appears that the star is genuinely happy with his wife and has never even side-glanced at another woman. Kingston is seen as one of the most loyal husbands in WWE currently, especially given the way that relationships usually work out in the wrestling world.

11 Couldn't Settle: Kelly Kelly

via wwe.com

Kelly Kelly is a former Divas Champion and someone who was recently able to return to WWE as part of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble. Kelly was released from WWE back in 2012 after a six-year tenure with WWE and in that time it appears that she turned more heads for her exploits outside of the ring, rather than her ability inside of it. Kelly was linked to a number of stars in WWE throughout her tenure including Justin Gabriel, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Batista and Dolph Ziggler.

Kelly married Ice Hockey player Sheldon Souray back in 2016 after the couple had been dating for more than five years, but they announced last year that they had decided to file for divorce. Kelly was part of E! Network show WAGS throughout her relationship with Souray, but has been taken off the show since her divorce. Kelly has been a star that has struggled throughout her career to settle down with one man, it seemed that Sheldon was finally the one since she even became the stepmother to his children, but he obviously wasn't. Hopefully, Kelly Kelly will finally find her happy ever after in the coming years.

10 Loyal: AJ Styles

via playersgf.com

AJ Styles has been part of the wrestling business for more than two decades and has been able to juggle a family life as well. Styles married his wife Wendy Jones more than 17 years ago and the couple has since welcomed four children, three boys, and a girl. The Phenomenal one has also ensured that all of his children also have the initials AJ and he has their dates of birth tattooed on his stomach.

Despite wrestling always being a huge thing in Styles' life, he has made sure that his family always come first. There was a time when Styles was offered a contract with WWE back in 2002 but because that would involve relocating and his wife was still in college studying to be a teacher, he turned down his dream job. He then worked for Impact Wrestling for more than a decade before WWE came knocking again and this time he was able to accept their offer. Styles ensures that what little time he has away from the company is always spent with his wife and children since he has missed so many miles stones in their lives because of the high profile career that he chose.

9 Couldn't Settle: Ric Flair

via freshestradio.com

Ric Flair wasn't just a character that he portrayed on-screen, it appears that the character followed over into his personal life and caused him a number of problems throughout his career. Flair liked to spend time in nightclubs and spent a lot of money on menial things when he was still climbing the ranks in the wrestling business, which obviously affected his private life and all of the relationships he was in when he was much younger.

It has become a well-known fact that Flair has been married and divorced four times in his career, with his most recent divorce being filed back in 2014. Flair is now engaged once again to a woman called Wendy Barlow, the duo announced their engagement back in 2016. These divorces have left a financial strain on Flair and forced him to wrestle for many years after he should have retired since he was in debt with a number of people. The former 16-time World Champion also has four children, Charlotte who is a former Women's Champion in WWE, David who once worked for WCW, his oldest daughter is called Megan and he also has another son called Reid who sadly passed away back in 2013.

8 Loyal: Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash will be best remembered for his time as part of The Kliq in WWE, a team where Nash definitely stood out. Nash wasn't as affected as many other stars throughout the 90s when it came to their own issues outside of the ring and this could be because the WWE Hall of Famer always had the support of his family.

Nash and his wife Tamara McMichael have been happily married now for more than three decades after first saying their vows back in 1988.

Nash and Tamara also have a son called Tristen who was born back in 1996 and was part of a number of headlines a few years ago when he and his father had a very public altercation. The couple has remained very private about their personal life throughout his career and it appears that Nash always kept his wife away from his in-ring career, which was probably the best thing for him to do at that time. Nash hid his wife from the business so well that he even joked at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony that many of his closest friends actually thought he was lying about having a wife because they never met her.

7 Couldn't Settle: Nikki Bella

via bostonherald.com

Nikki Bella will always be recognized as the longest reigning Divas Champion in the history of WWE and one of the women who helped to spark the Women's Revolution with Total Divas. Bella has been seen as one of the biggest faces in the Women's Division over the past few years whilst she was in a relationship with former World Champion John Cena, a relationship that came to an end a few weeks ago.

John Cena isn't the only wrestler that Nikki has been linked with throughout her 12-year wrestling career. When Nikki first joined WWE she was in a relationship with Dolph Ziggler, but the couple decided to go their separate ways back in 2012, which was when Nikki was linked to Cena. Nikki also revealed on an episode of Total Divas that she has been married before, it was a marriage that she was able to keep secret from most of her family since she decided to elope with her high school boyfriend and the couple then decided to annul the marriage just three years later. Nikki has quite the dating resume, so it shouldn't come as a shock that she was the one who decided to end her relationship with Cena just three weeks away from their wedding.

6 Loyal: Trish Stratus

via pinterest.com

Trish Stratus is one of the most decorated female wrestlers of all time, but whilst the former Women's Champion was seen as one of the most beautiful women on TV at that time, she only had eyes for one man. Stratus retired from the company back in September 2006 as a record-setting seven-time Women's Champion, just weeks before she finally married her boyfriend of 14 years and her high school sweetheart Ron Fisico.

Trish and Ron first started dating back in 1992 and Stratus remained loyal to her boyfriend throughout her wrestling career before she decided to leave the ring behind and start her own family after more than six years at the top of WWE Women's Division. Stratus was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2013, where she announced that she was expecting her first child, a son whom she called Maximus. Trish and Ron have been married now for more than a decade and welcomed their second child last year, a daughter whom the star called Madison. Trish has recently been featured on WWE TV as part of the Women's Revolution, but it appears that her full-time wrestling career is now behind her as she welcomes her life as a mother and the owner of her own yoga studio.

5 Couldn't Settle: Lita

via wwe.com

Lita is one of the biggest female legends that WWE has ever created, she may only be a four-time Women's Champion, but she was Trish Stratus' rival throughout their time in WWE and the two women broke down a number of glass ceilings whilst they were part of the Women's Divisions. Lita was in a relationship with Matt Hardy when the duo was working together as part of Team Xtreme, before Hardy was injured and Lita was then aligned with Edge. This marked the end of her relationship with Matt, but Lita and Edge didn't remain together for long after their huge scandal was made public but were forced to remain together on WWE TV.

Lita was then in a number of other relationships including one with CM Punk that ended back in 2013 when Punk moved on to a relationship with AJ Lee. Lita hasn't been very lucky with her taste in men throughout her career, but it must be nice for her to know that all of her exes have since gone on to marry and two of them have already started their own families. Lita was recently part of the Women's Royal Rumble match back in January, where she looked as incredible as always, so there's still time for her to meet the one.

4 Loyal: Rey Mysterio

via pinterest.co.uk

Rey Mysterio is a superstar who has inspired so many current WWE stars to lace up their wrestling boots throughout his almost three-decade-long career. Mysterio made his wrestling debut back in 1989 and joined WWE back in 1996, the same year that he married his wife Angie. Angie and Rey Mysterio have been happily married now for more than two decades and have welcomed two children in that time, a son called Dominic who was featured in the Eddie Guerrero and Mysterio storyline which culminated at SummerSlam back in 2005. And a daughter called Aalyah who was born back in 2001.

Mysterio has been training his son for a career in the wrestling business over the past few years, whilst he's been away from WWE. The King of Mystery recently returned to the company as part of the 2018 Royal Rumble match, which has sparked rumours that he could be set to rejoin the company that he fought so hard to leave back in 2015 after more than 13 years. Mysterio has been seen as one of the stand out performers in the wrestling business throughout his career, but he has also always been a hands-on father who has supported his family despite his hectic career.

3 Couldn't Settle: Batista

via pinterest.com

Batista is a former World Champion in WWE, but he has recently been able to make the switch from the ring onto the big screen as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. He was also featured in the most recent Avengers: Infinity War movie, but it has also been hinted that he could be set to make his return to the company in the near future.

While his professional life has been successful in recent years, it appears that Batista could have also got his personal life back on track after years of having a few private issues. Batista has been married three times in his career, his first marriage was back in 1990 to Glenda, but this ended in divorce back in 1998, before he moved on to his second wife Angie. His second marriage ended in divorce after a fling with WWE star Melina, and Batista has since moved on to marry again. Batista married competitive pole dancer Sarah Jade back in 2015 and it appears that the couple has been happy ever since. Batista is another example of a star who couldn't settle whilst he was working for WWE but he has been able to ever since he switched careers.

2 Loyal: Mick Foley

via wwe.com

Mick Foley was seen as a hardcore legend in WWE, but he never risked his relationship with his wife Collette, despite being part of the company at a time when many of the stars were straying from their partners. Foley and his wife married back in 1992 and have since welcomed four children including Noelle, who works for WWE on their Youtube Channel occasionally and Dewey who currently works for the company as a creative writer.

Despite being surrounded by a locker room of some of the most attractive women in the world, Foley has never wanted to stray away from his partner, whom he has been with now for almost three decades. The former Raw General Manager was featured in his own Network show called Holey Foley, where the family was able to show how close they are despite all being part of different aspects of the business. Foley and Collette have an envious relationship and still seem genuinely happy after so long together, which makes Foley much more than just a role model to his growing fanbase. Foley is one of very few wrestlers who learned how to juggle success alongside his family life and has been able to return to his happy brood since his retirement.

1 Couldn't Settle: Edge

via sportskeeda.com

Edge wasn't known as The Rated R Superstar without good reason, the former World Champion struggled with a number of issues in his private life throughout his career and has only recently been able to settle down and start a family since he's stepped out of the spotlight. Edge now works as an actor, which is a less gruelling schedule, which could be why he's been able to settle down with former Women's Champion Beth Phoenix.

Edge was married twice before he decided to tie the knot with Beth, his first marriage was to Alannah Morley and took place back in 2001. This came to an end three years later, and Edge then married Lisa Ortiz in 2004, but following the scandal with Lita, Edge and Lisa's marriage came to an end less than a year later. Edge and Beth Phoenix started dating when they were both part of WWE's roster but it became much more serious after they left and Beth gave birth to their two daughters. The couple finally married back in 2016 after more than four years together as it seems that Edge has finally decided to settle down after almost two decades of being unable to find the right woman.
