Triple H and Stephanie have each claimed they never tried to block Chyna from remaining with the company. WWE even reportedly had interest in bringing her back in future years, but the personal animosity on her end prevented the contract talks until things spiraled out of control.

The tension between Stephanie and Shane McMahon has been a story since Shane left WWE for a few years back in 2010. It became apparent that Stephanie was going to be Vince’s choice as his successor and Shane left to focus on other plans.

Shane however claimed there was no issues between him and his sister when asked about it on a podcast with Mick Foley. The two even seem to have grown closer following his WWE return with many pictures or videos of them bonding backstage.

1 Hated AJ Lee

Fans assumed the hatred between Stephanie McMahon and AJ Lee was as strong as the issues between their respective husbands Triple H and CM Punk. Lee added extra juice to this story when calling out WWE for sexism on social media after Stephanie praised an equal rights speech from Patricia Arquette.

Stephanie gave a response respecting Lee’s opinion, but AJ left the company shortly after to retire from the industry.
